Title: Walk with the Lord
walk with the Lord
Genesis 5:21-24
People become more supportive when they are with someone rather than alone. Much less, if the object of our will is God the Creator, then we have obtained the most reliable companion. Even in any trials, God and I alone are enough. As long as their relationship with each other is right.
I was worried when I thought that Joshua would follow Moses and lead 2 million Israelites into Canaan alone. Knowing this, God said:
“Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or be dismayed, for wherever you go, the Lord your God is with you” (Joshua 1:9). We are not alone. God is with us and the Holy Spirit is in us. Life with the Lord never fails. Even if I fail, the Lord in me does not fail.
You can never walk alone in this world. It is because we fall so easily in the face of so many things that we cannot handle on our own. Who are you walking with now? Who are you entrusting with your daily life? If that person is Jesus Christ, then you are already successful.
The Bible says
“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me” (Psalm 23:4).
“Do what you have learned and received, heard and seen of Me, and the God of peace will be with you” (Philippians 4:9).
When we walk with people, we must also associate with a wise person.
“Walking with the wise will bring you wisdom, but with fools you will suffer harm” (Proverbs 13:20).
“Do not associate with a wrathful man, or walk with a bitter man, lest you follow his ways and ensnare your soul” (Proverbs 22:24,25).
Saints! Our happiness, joy, and peace are not in external circumstances. It is not in external conditions. Unchanging God, Jehovah God who is not shaken even when the wind blows. When that God is with me, we can win and be happy. God is not only with us, but He also saves us, helps us, and gives us strength so that we can live a victorious life. Believe in the Lord of power and live a victorious life.
* Prayer: Lord, who is always with me, I thought I was going alone, but when I turn my head, the Lord is next to me. Lord, thank you for walking with me. Help me to become a child who speaks to the Lord first no matter what problems arise. I want to do everything I have with the Lord. Therefore, I want to be a witness of God through me, so please allow me to discern your thoughts and obey you. Also, remember what you have done and help me to live as a grateful person. I believe in God who is always with me, so please help me to live in the unwavering faith of Immanuel. Help me to live a life of walking with God anytime, anywhere. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
