Title: We Are Children of God

Contents

Not everyone who calls God “Father” is a child of God. What is born of the flesh is only flesh. Who, then, are truly children of God? Let's think deeply together.

Children belong to blood. In the words of the testimony, “Children are of flesh and blood, and he also belongs to flesh and blood in one form, that he who has overthrew the power of death through death, that is, the devil, and all those who are in bondage through life because they fear death, because they fear death. to release the field, not really to support the angels, but to the children of Abraham” (Hebrews 2:14-16).

“He did not follow the law of commandments pertaining to the flesh, but according to the power of boundless life, for he testified that you are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek” (Hebrews 7:16-17). Those who were created after the power of God are the true children of God.

The flesh and blood are the outer man, and the one who is in them is the inner man.

The gospel is not a call to the outer man, but to the inner man. The Bible calls this inner man "the lost one." Therefore, the Bible testifies that the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost” (Luke 19:10).

Because flesh and blood are not children of God, they cannot inherit the kingdom of God. In order to save the children of flesh and blood, separate and divide the hostile blood and flesh from the true children of God who belong to blood and flesh.

It is God's will to judge the flesh by killing it.

It is written, “The light was good in God’s sight, and God separated the light from the darkness” (Genesis 1:4), and “But what does the scriptures say? Cast out the slave girl and her son. “Therefore, brethren, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman” (Galatians 4:30-31). Come out from the midst and be separate and do not touch the unclean thing. I have received you, and I am a father to you, and you

You will become children, saith the Lord Almighty” (2 Corinthians 6:17-18). Therefore, now we, true children of God with Christ, the world has been crucified to me, and I also died to the world, we say with joy, "Amen.

In order to abolish the law of commandments related to the enmity, that is, flesh and blood, and the flesh that governs them, God made his Son belong to flesh and blood and begotten under the law in order to save his children, whom he knew beforehand.

To accomplish this, he followed God's will and became like men, and the way to accomplish that will is the way of the cross. It is the same as it is written, “Then I said, O God, I have come to do your will, as it is written of me in the book of the scroll” (Hebrews 10:7).

It is also written, “He abolished in his flesh the enmity, the ceremonial law of commandments, that he might make peace from the two by forming in himself one new man, and that they might be reconciled to God in one body through the cross He destroyed enmity on the cross, and came to bring peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near, so that through him we both may have access to the Father in one Spirit” (Ephesians 2:15-18). ) This is because, as evidenced, the promise of salvation to the Gentiles cannot be fulfilled unless the enmity, that is, the law of commandments belonging to the ceremonies, is abolished in one's own body.

He had already promised Abraham with an oath, “And through your offspring all peoples will be blessed, because you have obeyed my word” (Genesis 22:18).

Therefore, now to all who receive him, to those who believe in his name (inner man), he is giving the right to become children of God, so that they may be called children. Therefore, you are now a child of God. Only those who can see these things say, “Behold, what kind of love the Father has given us, that we should be called the children of God, and so are we. Therefore the world does not know us, because it does not know Him” (1 John 3: 1) can be said. Indeed, because the world does not know Christ, it cannot know the children of God.

Christ is the mystery of God. “As it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear has heard, nor the heart of man has conceived of all that God has prepared for those who love him” (1 Corinthians 2:9). And the Bible says The glory of the children of God is unthinkable to those of the world. This is because it is seen only by the Holy Spirit.

Let's listen to the words of exhortation to God's children who have received heavenly citizenship and are strangers in the world together with Christ Jesus, who became the firstborn son of many brothers. As it is written, “If children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, we must also suffer with them so that we may be glorified with him” (Romans 8:17) is to do

“For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for his sake” (Philippians 1:29). Amen.

Therefore, the children of God were once darkness, but now they are light in the Lord. Now there is no fear. There is only the peace of Christ.

Therefore, the children of God are no longer in the flesh, but in the spirit. We do not live according to the flesh, we live according to the Spirit. By the spirit, we put to death the deeds of the body, and we walk in new life. There is the true peace of Christ that the world does not seem to give.

Therefore, the Bible now exhorts us, “Therefore, holy brethren, together with you in the heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest of our faith” (Hebrews 3:1).

Now our life is not me, but Christ. Therefore I die, and Christ lives in me. When Christ, who is our life, appears, then we will also appear with him in glory.

“The Lord your God (Father) is in your midst, the Almighty who will save you; he will rejoice over you with joy, he will quietly love you and will rejoice over you with singing and rejoicing” (Zep 3:17).

We bow down and worship our Heavenly Father in the name of Immanuel.
