Title [3.1] We Are Eagles, Not Chickens
Content ?It is not a chicken.
(De 32:9-12)
In the text, Moses is explaining the grace of God that took care of the Israelites for 40 years in the wilderness by comparing them to an eagle taking care and training its young. We must live a life that develops and grows day by day. For that to happen, training is essential in life. So, how does God train us?
1. “Disturbing their nest” God tests our faith. These days, members of the church come to church only to worship and then go quickly. They do not seek service, loyalty, or dedication. God refines these saints. He shakes up families and trains them to become unbearable with their jobs and businesses. This is so that we can enter into greater faith and grace, fulfill God's mission and receive blessings. When God disturbs our nests, He has a clear purpose. So, please believe that the difficulties now do not end in difficulties alone.
2. “Fluttering over her chicks” - A mother eagle spreads her wings to show her chicks flying in the nest. This is like God giving us an example of life through His Word. We must learn what we can learn through the Word of God, and realize what we can understand. We must find the true example through the Bible. We must realize the truth in the Word of God, learn the right example of life and practice it. For example, if the parents have good faith, then the children will also have good faith. Therefore, parents should try to set an example for their children, even if it is difficult.
3. “It spreads its wings and receives its young” - The eagle trains its young but protects it from death. God also provides refinement and training so that believers can spread their wings of faith. However, even if we cannot spread the wings of faith, even if we cannot sing and pray, He will give us love, comfort, and compassion so that we do not get hurt. That is why he does not allow us to die when we are sick and not to lose heart when we are in trouble (Psalm 37:24). Rather, Christians take root of their faith before God in times of tribulation, disease, and suffering. Suffering leads to repentance, humility, and prayer. It is to draw closer to God and settle down.
4. “Like carrying it on its wings” - The mother eagle quickly flies away and puts it on her wings to keep her baby eagle safe. It also provides thorough protection from any threat and attack. God does not destroy us or cause us to die. He makes us strong through refinement and training so that we can live a life of abundance and abundance (Exodus 19:4). When we become God's people, call on God, have faith and obey His Word, God will never forsake us. He gives you greater blessings through refinement and training.
We are eagles, not chickens. Therefore, do not live like chickens, but live like eagles. Please do not worry about what you will eat or what you will wear in the world just like the rest of the world. We are sons and daughters of God. God has given you a promise. Therefore, I pray in the name of the Lord that you spread your wings of faith and ascend to the sky in the name of the Lord to live a successful life.
