Title: We Are Witnesses in This Matter
Contents
First, why were the apostles taken to the Sanhedrin council and put in prison?
Second> What happened to the apostles in prison?
Third> What did the apostles (Peter) say to the religious leaders?
The religious leaders said, “We strictly forbade (strictly forbid) not to teach Jesus in this name (Jesus), so why has your teaching spread throughout Jerusalem?” To this question, Peter first declares (thousands). “It is proper to obey God rather than men.” Peter declares that it is right to live by the word of God and to be moved by the word rather than people's words. This attitude is the basic attitude of a believer. And then they testify of the gospel. “The God of our fathers raised Jesus, whom you killed by hanging on a tree (cross).” “He exalted him with his right hand to give Israel repentance and forgiveness of sins.” The same is true of the Holy Spirit, who is a witness and has been given to those who obey him.”
Conclusion> When the Holy Spirit comes upon you ---- You will become my (Jesus) witnesses to the ends of the earth. (Acts 1:8) When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, it is natural and natural to live a life of witnessing to Jesus, not an option. May you be filled with this Holy Spirit, live for Jesus, and be with Jesus forever.
