Title: We Need God's Grace (Romans 03:24)
There is nothing more precious to Heavenly Father than for a person to turn and return to Heavenly Father. Who should have been a child of God, but when a soul who died in trespasses and sins returns to the Lord, what can compare this joy to the feelings of parents who have regained their lost child? No matter how difficult and arduous the road to return was, when the son returned home, his father's house had already prepared the best clothes for him, along with the best shoes for his fingers and feet. And the father rejoiced that his son had returned and held a great feast. Perhaps the father of the prodigal son knew that his son would one day return. So it may be that the good things were prepared in advance. But in our view, this son does not have the right to wear his father's best clothes, fingers, and shoes. Or, more precisely, the son does not deserve the welcome of the father. Nevertheless, the father prepared good things for the son who did not return, and when he returned, he gave them all.
This is the love and grace of a father to his son. But if the son had never returned, the good things the father had provided could never have been his. This is also true of our Heavenly Father and of us.
