Title: What kind of daily bread do we need?
While the Israelites, who had escaped from Egypt, crossed the Red Sea and lived in the wilderness, they were starving to death in the barren sandy desert because they had nothing to eat. God sent manna from heaven to help the people live. Also, when he wanted to eat meat, he mobilized strong winds to carry quails so that they could eat them. At that time, manna was their daily bread. God is always preparing this daily bread to feed His people. Nevertheless, they often expressed their resentment whenever they had a chance. In the end, God's people do not believe in it and are always in pain and struggling.
The Bible says, “What shall we eat? what to drink what to wear Do not be anxious, seek the kingdom and its righteousness.” And all these things will be added to you. But, as a human being in the flesh, how can we focus on our religious life while neglecting the problems of eating, drinking, and dressing? Actually, it is not an easy problem. The reason why it is difficult for humans to keep the word of God is because humans are flesh and God is spirit. Human beings in the flesh, unable to distinguish between these things, struggle to observe the Word of God in the Spirit, but in the end, only their own righteousness will be fulfilled. This does not mean that we should not keep the word of God. Obviously, you have to make an effort to keep it. After doing that, at the end of the day, you realize that you can't protect it as a human being, and raise your hand.
If manna and quail were the daily bread for the physical Israelites, what is the daily bread for the spiritual Israelites today? The problems of the spiritual people cannot be solved unless the spiritual people realize this first. The manna and quail that the Israelites ate in the wilderness symbolize the flesh and blood of Jesus. What they ate and drank, they eventually ate the flesh and blood of Jesus as a model. Jesus, who was symbolically given to the Israelites in the wilderness, was sent to the land of Israel in human form, but no one realized that he was a spiritual daily bread that replaced manna and quail.
The words given as a model, no matter how much you eat, only fill the body and do not revitalize the soul. However, no matter how dry the branches of the word from Christ, those who receive it and eat it are bound to sprout and blossom like Aaron's staff. If you are a spiritual people, you must receive and eat these words. However, since only the Word given as a model has not yet been given to this world, we have no choice but to receive and eat the Word that is provided as physical food. But for those who are here now, the daily daily bread of spirituality through Christ is gushing out like a spring. However, if he receives and eats these words every day and his dead soul does not come back to life, then he must have been destined to be cursed.
If even here we are providing the same daily bread as the world church, we must leave this place as soon as possible. How, then, should we be able to distinguish whether the Word is from Christ or not? It's simple to test it. If the word heard through the pulpit is good for me to listen to, it is 99.99% of the word that nourishes the body, so you have to leave. However, on the other hand, if it is a word that makes me feel bad by pointing out my sins, it can be concluded that the word is 99.99% of the words of Christ. The reason is that there is only one Christ who can point out and speak about human sinfulness. Therefore, the daily bread that the spiritual people should consume is bitter in our mouths, but it is only through the words of Christ who will enter our hearts and become our masters, we can revive our dead spirits.
Now, the new year of 2006 has dawned. From now on we must clearly realize what kind of daily bread our soul desires to consume. If we still do not know what our daily bread should be, then he is still less awake from the sleep of the world. Just as the Israelites all died in the wilderness even after eating manna and quails, even though we read the Bible a thousand times today and listened to God's words countless times, our dead spirits with corrupt hearts cannot be revived. In order for our corrupt hearts and dead spirits to come to life, the Word of Christ must become my daily bread and work in my heart. Only then will my dead spirit be resurrected. Only the word of Christ can raise from all the dead. We must believe and accept that the blood and flesh that Jesus shed when He died on the cross about 2,000 years ago is now in front of our eyes as spiritual words. For those who do not believe this, there is no way to live anymore.
