When I looked at the back page of the Dong-A Ilbo this morning, there was an article with this title.
<Seoul Gangnam Luxury Apartment Village Security Awareness Too Strong> As the news of North Korea's withdrawal from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) spread, emergency food (flesh, ramen, etc.) It is an article that the emergency food was sold out and the rice was sold out, even the stock in the warehouse.
This phenomenon is based on the desire to live alone even if war breaks out.
Extreme individualism leads to social chaos, and this social chaos has a huge impact on state management.
Even so, foreign banks try not to do business with Korea because Korea is insecure, but you can see their mental state by looking at this phenomenon in Gangnam, where the wealthy intellectuals are said to live.
That's why there are a lot of people who don't like the people who live in some Gangnam areas.
We need to think and pray about what is the way for the nation and people and further to the glory of God, rather than thinking that it is enough for us to live and eat well by ourselves.
The content of the sermon I have read until last week is that God, who wants to give us grace and peace, chose us before creating the world and gave us all spiritual blessings in the heavenly places in Christ and redeemed us by the blood of Christ so that we might be holy and without blemish It is the core content that He made you his children.
In today's text, Paul is talking about God who does everything according to his heart's will.
Verse 11 says, “For we were predestined and became an inheritance in him according to the will of him who works all things according to the will of his heart.”
God does everything according to the will of his heart.
There is only one God in this universe who can do everything according to the will of the heart.
Everything is anything that happens in this world. It refers to things in heaven, things on earth, and everything that happens in hell under the earth. He governs the history of mankind according to the wishes of his heart.
Even if God does what His heart desires, we cannot complain. The heart of God is righteous, merciful, and full of mercy. Because he is a God of justice and a God of love, everything he does is just and just.
Because God has such a heart, God cannot do evil.
What does God want?
is it war? is it peace?
is it pain? are you resting?
Is it a disease? Are you healthy?
God wants to give us peace rather than war, rest rather than pain, and health rather than disease.
But if war is good for us, he allows war at all costs.
In the sight of God, if suffering is beneficial to us, He permits suffering.
In God's eyes, if a disease is a medicine to us, he also allows it.
However, God does everything according to his heart, so he wants to bless us and grant grace to me and the women.
Numbers 6:24 The LORD bless you and keep you;
Numbers 6:25 May the LORD make his face shine upon you, and be gracious to you.
Numbers 6:26 May the LORD turn his face toward you, and give you peace.
do it do it
Who is God, and can he do what his heart desires?
Because Jehovah God is Almighty God, he can do anything he wants.
Since God created the heavens and the earth with His Word, He can do anything He wants.
Because Jehovah is a God who is mighty in war, he can make the rise, fall, and fall of the nation as he pleases in his heart.
In this way, God does what His heart desires, but He follows His will.
Therefore, we must live according to the will of God.
The will of God revealed to us is all revealed in the Bible, the Word of God.
John 6:40 My Father's will is that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him has eternal life.
This is it, I will raise it up on the last day.
1 Thessalonians 4:3 For this is the will of God, your sanctification, that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality.
1 Thessalonians 5:16 Rejoice always
1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing
1 Thessalonians 5:18 In everything give thanks, which is for you in Christ Jesus
God's will
In the next verse, it says, “Being predestined according to the will of God.”
You've probably heard the saying a lot.
Predestination means that from eternity, God has ordained all people to be saved by His grace. It is said that a special plan related to human salvation is planned.
“It became a company in it.”
“In him” means that you have become an inheritance according to the will of God, who does all things according to the will of the heart.
The word becoming a company has two meanings.
1) Believers became God's property.
Verse 5 - He predestined us according to his good pleasure through Jesus Christ
made them his sons
2) It refers to the saints becoming heirs who inherit all of God.
1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ
from the dead of Jesus Christ according to his abundant mercy
be born again to a living hope through the resurrection
said
1 Peter 1:4 heirs an inheritance that is incorruptible, undefiled, and that does not fade.
which is reserved for you in heaven
Did God, who does everything according to the will of his heart, predestined me and the saints from before the foundation of the world to become children and to inherit the kingdom of heaven?
12 “For we who had long hoped in Christ, the praise of his glory
to make it happen.”
It says that the members of Ephesians Church want to make the members who are waiting for Christ to come again praise the glory of God even in the midst of many tribulations and sufferings, and to make the members who have kept their faith to the end to become the praises of God's glory in Christ.
