Title: What I Have/ Acts 3:1-10

Contents: What do hungry people need the most? It would be rice. What do the sick need most? It will be robustness above all else. What the powerless need the most is ability. What a lonely person needs most is love, and a person in despair needs hope the most. And what is the greatest need of a person suffering from guilt because of a crime? It would be a remission of sins, forgiveness.

What, then, is the greatest need of the hungry, the sick, the helpless, the lonely, and those who suffer from despair and guilt? What can solve this holistic problem and fill the need? If there was one thing that could solve all these problems at once, what would it be? That is the name of Jesus Christ. Because all of this is in Christ. There is riches in Christ. Please believe it.

There is strength in Christ. Please believe it.

There is power in Christ. There is healing in Christ. There is hope in Christ. In Christ there is the wonderful grace of salvation, forgiveness of sins and forgiveness.

I pray that the abundant grace of Jesus Christ will come upon you and me who are here today.

Jesus is my strength and my life...

In the text, there is a story of a man who sat at the beautiful gate of the temple and became 'cramped by birth.

Peter and John heal this man in the name of Jesus Christ. However, the text does not emphasize only the fact that the sick were healed by the work of power and miracles. We must discover the way of salvation in our lives in this event.

First, we must have the awareness that all our lives were like this crippled state before we met Jesus Christ.

This lame man was born lame before he got better, and he has never walked before. He is about 40 years old. If that is the case, then you are a person who has lived a life of pitiful pity and has never walked for more than 40 years.

Some of us will hear this and think that it is bad for me to say that I am like one who was born lame.

Indeed, the Bible says that all human beings are sinners. You will not want to admit to this statement either. But the evidence is there. It is none other than the sinfulness of us. Is there anyone who has not committed even the smallest sin? A person who commits a sin is called a sinner. Another proof is that we have physical death. Without sin there is no death in life. If you want to say that you are not a sinner, you just need to show evidence that there is no death. But any of us will admit that we all die once, we don't know when. This is the proof that you are a sinner. And those who are not in Jesus Christ do not know God and do not know what it is to give thanks to God and live for God, and to live to the glory of God. Isn't it just that the meaning of life is mine, and what is in the world is life outside of Jesus?

This kind of life is called spiritually crippled. He is a person who has not yet lived as a human being, as a complete personality. You don't know the meaning of life.

The chief end of man is to glorify God and to enjoy him forever. Just as this lame man has been lame since he was born, today all life is born in sin. All of life is walking like a cripple who can't walk properly.

We do not know how precious God created life when he created it. You were made in the image of God. It was created as a being to serve God in order to be glorified by God. However, all fallen human beings who were deceived by the devil were born in sin, sinned, and ended up in eternal death.

Second, what does this cripple need?

This person doesn't know what his real needs are. No, I don't even know. What he needs now is silver and gold. The issue of food, clothing and shelter became the primary goal.

This crippled man is so that every morning he sits at the tailgate by those who tie him up, and it was his job to beg a dime or two from those who entered the temple from there, and he has been doing this since he was young. I'm used to this. It was embarrassing at first, but as time went on, I got used to it, and I had to pretend to be more assholes in order to arouse the compassion of those who entered the temple.

Who is this person teaching?

Those who have been crippled right from birth are all human beings who do not know God. You think that life is accomplishing something without God, but if you know the future accurately, you can't help but despair.

The phrase 'cramp from birth' means that life is born a sinner. All life is born in sin. No one has a perfect life. Even the crippled knows that when he was young, his parents worked hard to get him to walk. But I'm giving up now because it doesn't work. It shows a life that gave up miracles.

It is a life in which you will die in your sins, but it is life that you give up on even the thought of solving your sins. They just want to be content with what they eat.

What does a life of begging show us?

What these crippled lives can't do is use other people to provide food, shelter and shelter. What is the purpose of our life today? What is the purpose of daily living?

Isn't the purpose of our students' learning also the purpose of making a living?

When I was young, I had ideals and dreams. The ideal has to come true while going on to middle school and high school, but as you go through the entrance exam hell, you are getting farther away from that dream, in order to earn a living for going to college, and to earn a living by getting a job.

This lame man had no interest in those who entered the temple.

"People who are full and have nothing to do, or people like us who sit in that chapel to worship, sing, pray, and live in a hurry...

Isn't today the time to give up all problems in life?

Why are there so many youths in this age?

There are problems in life, because there are no answers.

Adults have even given up worrying about all life's problems, and students are still pure and cannot give up like adults, but they are conflicting between the ideal and the reality.

However, conflicting students or giving up adults are not getting answers to those problems. There is no solution.

Adults have given up now, so they cause less problems, but students worrying, conflicting, and rebelling because of the reason they haven't given up yet, have become a social problem today.

Adults don't know. Why do students conflict?

Maybe our students wander here and there, but we don't know why.

What are the needs of this cripple?

He is money or bread for survival. This does not solve his problem. His problem is what happens.

What does the Bible suggest to these wandering youths today and to modern people who have given up the meaning of life?

It's a tragedy that we don't even know what we really need.

The church must teach this first.

What are the problems in life?

What is the underlying conflict?

What people really need is what we have to give them, and what we can give them.

In verse 3, as Peter and John were about to enter the temple, he looked at us to get something. At this point, Peter says:

Silver and gold are not mine. I don't have the silver and gold you want.

But I have something. I give this to you, the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I was told to walk in this name.

What the world needs is silver or gold. Although it is a material thing or something of the world, it is not truly satisfying to give it.

Life is eternal and was created to satisfy God. That is why, no matter what kind of world you fill it with, it will not satisfy your greed.

What do we have, what do we have?

Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

This name is ability. This name is salvation. do you believe

The name of Jesus Christ refers to the merit of His saving grace by dying for us on the cross.

Why did Jesus die? Because of our sin problem and eternal death problem. It is in the name of this Christ that we have been saved. It is Jesus who solved the eternal problems of sin and death on the cross.

Number one on the list of Christian property is the name of Jesus Christ.

The most precious thing for Peter and John was Jesus Christ.

In that name he said, ?et up and walk,??and he took his right hand and got him up/ and his feet and ankles immediately gained strength// he ran and walked/ went into the temple with them/ walked and leaped, praising God.

By meeting Christ, all of this lame problem was solved. He was able to carry out the true purpose of life that he had given up on. He had no reason to beg, and he had no reason to be despised. He was the most popular among the crowd, and he was the most delighted.

He walked, ran, and danced. He praised God. He entered the temple of God.

What is your primary purpose in life?

It's not about eating well and living well.

As a created human being, it is to rejoice in God the Creator and Creator, and to glorify God forever. This is the original position in life.

Do any of our students have friends who have not yet met Christ? What is the purpose of your life? Is that purpose really eternal? Who is it for?

It is natural to have conflicts and concerns. But you must not give up. Because we have a way. The road to eternal life is open. There is the name of Jesus Christ, who is the way, the truth, and the life. He is our savior, our counselor and solver of our problems.

Friends who believe in Jesus Christ!

Is Jesus Christ really in me?

Is Jesus Christ really the most precious to me?

Am I not lacking because his name is in me?

Then, like Peter, don't you have a mission to give the name of Christ to this world?

His name is Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Nazareth is a despised town.

Even today, the world despises and the world sneers at Jesus Christ.

But this Jesus is the wisdom of God's salvation. It is the power of salvation. There is no other savior than Jesus.

Let's not give up. Let us not despair in the midst of any sin.

It has to happen in the realities of any misfortune. Why? There is the name of Jesus Christ. He is the savior, he is the solver of all our problems. Amen!!
