Title: What if you blush?
Adam's first son Cain and his brother Abel teach us a lot today. Even though they were born to the same parents, one person is portrayed as an evil person and the other person as a good person. It is also part of every human being today.
Now, let's re-examine ourselves through Cain and Abel. Today, many people misunderstand that God was not pleased with Cain's wealth because he offered it with grain. This is the thought of those who are not able to escape from the same mentality as Cain.
God did not accept Cain's wealth because Cain did not accept it because Cain gave his wealth, but because Cain's usual heart in preparing the gift was not toward God, God did not accept it with Cain. that didn't.
Here's how we can know that Cain's heart was not toward God. It is the Bible verse where God says, “Cain and his riches did not accept him.” If God had valued riches more than human hearts, it would have been right to write, “He did not accept Cain along with riches.”
And if the riches offered by Abel were also really important because they were a symbol of Jesus, God would have been right when it was written that “the riches and Abel were also acceptable.” But the Bible records, “He accepted Abel and his riches.” In other words, it can be seen that he received Abel's heart first rather than riches.
If you live your life of faith with this kind of thinking, you will make a huge mistake. This is the same logic as today believing that if you go to the chapel without any heart and just call on the name of Jesus, everything will be successful. As we can feel from the actions of Cain and Abel, we must remember clearly that no matter how many worships and offerings are offered in the name of Jesus today, worship without heart will never reach God.
There is one more thing we should realize from the actions of Cain and Abel. It is our attitude toward God. Let us now explain with an example. We have two brothers at home. We worship assuming that I, the older brother, is in Cain's position and that the younger brother is Abel. The gift was given in the same way. As for the amount, my brother's situation was a little better, so I gave him 1 million won, and my younger brother, because he was having a hard time, gave him 500,000 won as a gift.
However, God accepted the gift that my brother gave and gave me many blessings. But his brother's thing was not acceptable. So my brother couldn't download any hallways. How do you feel then? Would you blush before God like Cain, and even complain to God, saying, “Why do you not accept my gift even though I have given you more gifts than my brother?” Or would you like to find my problem?
Even though the two of them made the same gift before God, why did God accept the younger brother, who offered much less than the older brother? If you find the difference between Cain and Abel here, you too will be able to stand in Abel's position, but if you don't, you too will be stuck in Cain's category.
The reason God accepted the younger brother's gift despite the fact that God gave much less than the older brother's is because God saw the brother's faithful heart who usually prepares gifts. However, on the other hand, because it was a Sunday without any mental preparation, he just went to the chapel and offered the gift without any feelings, so God did not accept the gift.
But what's even more interesting here is the appearance of a human being who blushes in front of God and changes his complexion because he doesn't accept his own. A person called hyung is not interested in how his brother usually prepares gifts. He is only interested in the fact that he has given more gifts than his younger brother, and he does not realize what he has done wrong. As a result, in the end, even before God, they blush.
The most miserable thing among those who live a religious life today is that they do not even realize what they have done wrong in front of God and how they live. Those who lead a religious life like this think that if they just go to the chapel without any heart and worship in the name of Jesus, everything will be in harmony with God. This is the biggest problem for believers today.
However, those who offer their gifts to God with their hearts do not blame God even if God does not accept their offerings, but realize that their devotion is lacking on the spot. The reason for this is that everything came from the heart and offered a gift before God, and God's refusal to accept the gift means that his devotion was lacking. is.
Those who realize their mistakes in this way will soon be able to meet the Son of God who will come before the Gentiles. When Jesus came to the land of Israel, the Pharisees, scribes, and rulers, who did not realize their error, did not accept what Jesus was saying because they did not realize their error at all. On the other hand, tax collectors and prostitutes who were deeply aware of their mistakes were able to meet Jesus.
Likewise, even today, those who do not realize their mistake deep down, even if the Son of God comes and preaches the word, they will blush and oppose like Cain, or they will be jealous of those whom God has mercy on and eventually, like Cain, they will be stoned to death. Here, the word Cain stoned to death means spiritual death, in which those who are rejected by God will eventually kill God's children.
Finally, I would like to ask you one more question. When the Son of God comes and tells you who believe, “You are the children of Satan who have not yet been saved,” what kind of attitude will you have toward him? The decision is solely yours. But depending on your reaction, you will be divided into those belonging to Cain and those belonging to Abel. -He who has ears, let him hear and understand-
