Title: What Is Our Healing?
At the time of Jesus, Jews called all Gentiles, including Greeks, barbarians. The expression "barbarians" refers to the savage tribes of the south, meaning contempt and contempt for them. The Jews called them that way because, while they regarded them as God's holy chosen people, they saw both Greeks and Gentiles as vagrants and ignorant people who did not know God. Examples of this were widespread in Jewish society at that time. However, because of this pride, the Jews eventually did not believe in the Son sent by God and chose the path to destruction.
After meeting Jesus, Paul, who had such great momentum, finally realized what kind of existence he was. From a Jewish point of view, it was a very strange thing to happen. Until yesterday, the Jewish people simply couldn't keep their mouths open to hear that a man who had his double wick in his eyes and went about catching the believers in Jesus suddenly changed and rebuked the faith of his people. This is the reason why the Jews went to arrest Paul even more so that he had to lose food and drink to kill him.
So, what is the faith of Christians today? Christians today only look at what is written in the Bible and criticize the faith of the Jews, especially the Pharisees. The reason for criticizing the Pharisees is that they believed only themselves to be righteous, kept away from publicans and prostitutes, and above all, did not believe in the Son whom God had sent. Can Christians really criticize the Pharisees? If Christians want to criticize the Pharisees, they must live a life of being completely regenerated into Christ like Paul. If you criticize in the wrong state, it is like stabbing yourself in the foot with an axe.
Christians today claim that they must have been born again as Christ because they believed in Jesus and received the Holy Spirit. Can people who used to live as Gentiles claim to be born again into Christ by believing in Jesus and receiving the Holy Spirit? Even if they say so, if their lives do not support it, they are either lying or being deceived by themselves.
The first life of those who have been reborn as Christ, like Paul, is to ‘realize that they are sinners’. The third life, “You will let go of all the worldly desires you have had so far.” If the Lord is living your life for you, why would you be greedy for the world? The fourth life, “You will live by the grace of the Lord.” Those who live by the grace of the Lord can never live according to their own will and thoughts. The reason is that if a sinner lives according to his own thoughts, he will only commit sins. With only these few things, it is easy to tell whether a person who is living a life of faith is a born-again Christ or not.
So, what about the lives of Christians today who claim to be born again? Christians, like Jews, are outspoken against those who believe in other religions because they pride themselves on believing that they are the only ones who believe in the supreme religion, calling them bastards of the devil. In addition, even though they are within the same Christianity, they condemn them as heretics because they are of different denominations or the doctrines do not match, and they do not want to engage in communion with them. This is similar to how the Jews criticized publicans and prostitutes. Those who criticize others criticize others because they believe they are righteous. Such people are never the lives of those who have been born again into Christ. How can a person who knows who he is and what he is like to criticize others recklessly?
Even today's Christians will only know what they are when they see themselves through the Son sent by God. Thus, when you realize yourself, you will surely confess, like Saul, that you are a filthy human and the chief of sinners. And you will live a humble life like Paul. However, if we look at the lives of Christians today, it is more evident that they are struggling to rise higher than those lowered. Only when we confess our sins in this way will we receive the Lord's mercy, receive forgiveness of sins, and enter eternal life.
However, people who have not yet been born again into Christ or the church say that all of you are born again, so everyone is deceived by that word, thinking that they have truly been born again, and becomes proud of them. If they are not forgiven, they go to destruction. Think about it! Will the Jews go to destruction because of their zeal for God? Or did their lack of faith inflict God's wrath? With their zeal and hard work, no Christian today would be able to keep up with them. If they have not attained eternal life because of their zeal, they will strike the ground and weep. They did not reach eternal life, not because of their lack of effort, but because they did not believe in the Son of God who would forgive their sins.
Christians living under the law of the Holy Spirit today should bear this in mind. Because there is nothing better than the Jews. Also, although they claim to be born again of Christ, they have to keep in mind that compared to non-believers, they only have the religion of Christianity, and there is nothing different from them. If unbelievers have worldly greed and greed, Christians have the same, and if unbelievers have hatred, envy, jealousy, anger, and lies, then Christians also have these things in their hearts.
Jews and Christians, only outwardly were the people of the kingdom of God, but in the inside, they were no different from unbelievers. To solve this problem, God sent His Son twice. To the Jews, Jesus Christ in the flesh was sent as a type of Isaac, and to Christians, the spiritual Son of God was sent as a type of Jacob. Those who lived as people of the kingdom of God on earth can receive the forgiveness of sins and reach eternal life only when they believe in the Son God sends.
The Jews who lived under the law and the Christians today, just because they kept the law and kept the canon law, does not mean that they can achieve eternal life. If Jews and Christians thought that they would be saved by keeping the law, God would be doing something very foolish. The reason is that you had to send your son twice, even though there was no need to send your son. But anyone who knows that God is not foolish at all will understand why God should send His Son before Jews and Christians. -He who has ears, let him hear and understand...-
