Title: What kind of life pleases God?
Will you please the content?
James 1:26-27
The words of today's text are telling us practical and practical words about how we should live in the shape of our lives.
It asks, “What is true godliness?” is to do The purpose of godliness is to please God. “How do we live? Is it a life that pleases us?” It reminds us of this.
But what about us? We already know how to live through the Word. And in today's text, godliness is divided into true godliness and false godliness. True godliness is godliness that pleases God. In today's text, we will look at the measure of true godliness by dividing it into three dimensions.
First, language life.
We must be careful with our words before God. No matter where God leads us, we should live a life of gratitude and satisfaction in itself, thinking that there is a good will of God.
Who lives a godly life? It's that person? If we do not bridle our tongues, we are not revitalizing the church and expanding the kingdom of God. We should be able to spare our words and, if necessary, consider others with gracious words, virtuous words, and a warm heart.
Second, material life.
Today's text tells us that we should help orphans and widows who are in tribulation. And the owner of the money I have and the material I have is God.
Then it will be used for good purposes as God wants it to be. We must use the material God has entrusted to us for good purposes according to God's will. Love is in dead and truth. This is true godliness before.
Third, social life.
The world has fallen. A fallen world tempts us in many ways. Also, we are busy with so much work in the world. Therefore, they cannot properly hear the word of God. But we must pay attention to the Word of God. At this time, the Word will live and work in my life, nourishing my soul and becoming the food of life.
Now we have heard. I have come to understand the meaning of true godliness. So I hope that you will be the ones who please Heavenly Father by practicing godliness in our lives.
