Title: What the Master gave us

(John 13:12-17)

Today is Teacher's Day.

The most beautiful relationship among human relationships is that of a teacher and a disciple.

Because once a relationship is established, it is a relationship that will never disappear.

So there is a saying that once a teacher is a teacher forever.

Teachers are the ones who taught the disciples to follow the 'right path'.

The teacher taught the disciples 'what is right and wrong', and the teacher is the one who taught the disciples to become 'good people'.

1. The master taught his disciples 'the right principles of life'.

The society always taught them to live bright even when they were corrupt and dark. Even in difficult times, the teacher planted dreams in the disciples and took care of them from behind to make those dreams come true.

And he watched the dream trees grow.

The master lived with the greatest reward in seeing disciples larger than himself.

This is the general view of masters.

That is why the old adults even said that they would not step on the shadow of their master.

But what makes us sad today?

It is said that the teachers created a society that was reduced to workers. Teachers also feel sad in the reality of having to form a union.

It means that they feel sad that they created a society that sells knowledge rather than instilling big dreams in life. So there was the end of the lack of education or the collapse of education.

Everyone! Why do you think this happened?

What made you lose your respect for your master?

If we look for the cause in our society, I think the first is the responsibility of politicians.

Because politicians have changed education policy one way or another,

Next, I think it is because of the value of economic firstism.

This is because the society has become a society in which everyone has money, and everyone sees that person as the best person.

That is why we are saddened by the fact that the time when we knew the job of a teacher as a vocation is over, and the time when we recognized it as such has passed.

Of course there are all the complex problems of society here, but the job of a teacher had to be respected nonetheless. Teachers will still want it. It means that you cannot improve your treatment by raising a few pennies in your salary and a few more pennies in your allowance. It is a priority for teachers to make them proud of their job.

And you will want social recognition and treatment that makes you feel rewarding.

Then you wouldn't have made it. There would have been no such thing as saying.

Now, we think it is time to put out the top-priority policies on education if it is for the future of this country above all else. Politicians will have to think about this.

If you look at the foreign exchange crisis, if it was all the people's faults, then it's because the education to nurture people was not done properly, so the politics that made it that way is the problem.

Maybe it's because they taught me to be the right people, but I couldn't live the way I was taught.

This is a problem of the greatest vicious cycle that is repeated even now.

It is said that if you do what is taught in school, it will not work in society.

They also ridicule those who try to live like that for trying to live in textbooks.

However, it is not the original trajectory of life.

In that sense, I think of the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Christ is the Savior of our souls and the Master of eternal life.

2. I think of Jesus Christ, the eternal teacher of life.

According to today's text, what kind of teacher was Jesus?

a) He was a teacher who was aware that he was a teacher and showed that he was a teacher (verse 13).

"You say that I am a teacher or a lord, you are right, I am."

He admitted that he was a teacher. The Lord is the eternal teacher of life.

That is why he never appeared to be scattered in front of the disciples, and for three years he ate, slept, and walked with them, and never left them.

And he cared for and loved his disciples. When we were overworked without even having time to eat, the Lord called the disciples apart and went to a secluded place to rest (Mark 6:31).

And through the message of the kingdom, he taught me the true value.

b) He was a master who set an example for himself by washing the disciples' feet (v. 14).

It was not just taught by words, knowledge, or books. His teaching was a real education taught by action.

It was not a theoretical education that was far from reality, but an education that was shown through self-practice. Indeed, this is the Teacher Award that has set an eternal example for all teachers.

And he showed me where true authority comes from.

It showed that a worthwhile life is to humble oneself and serve.

?ou know that the rulers of the Gentiles have arbitrariness over them, and their great men exercise authority over them, but it is not so among you. Whoever wishes to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you whoever does so shall be your servants??(Matthew 20:15-27). Therefore, he had another authority that was not seen in the teachers at the time.

c) He planted an eternal Master Award in the hearts of his disciples.

He was a teacher (verse 15).

By washing the disciples' feet, he showed in action what kind of person he should become in the future. Although a teacher is greater than a disciple, he loves by showing an example of self-serving.

made me realize what this is.

It showed that love is service, not domination.

It showed that love is an act of generosity that even washed the feet of the disciple who would betray him.

Because of this Lord, we have come to know what eternal victory is, and also what a life of eternal value is like.

And I learned where true authority comes from.

3. Then, how should today's true teachers be formed?

Everyone says that the 21st century is an uncertain century.

No one can predict how far the advanced technology of science will go.

It is the century that even the term appeared.

In this way, we are living in infinite change in the world of fruits and vegetables, but humans have not changed from before.

It means that the problem of sin in human nature is still there.

The problem of sin still remains an eternal task. Still, the problem of death remains a problem of eternal reality.

Everyone! Do you think science and technology can solve the problem of sin and death?

Do you think biotechnology can fix the twisted human conscience and corrupted humanity? No matter how much you change your genetic factors (DNA), you will not be able to correct the sinful nature of fallen human beings.

And it will not solve the problem of death, which is the price of sin. ?elieve on the Lord Jesus! And you and your household will be saved!??will be a living word now and forever.

So as long as there is life, there will be problems, and as long as there are problems, there will still be problems.

Where can you find the True Master?

And where can we raise true disciples?

After all, there must be a movement to return to Jesus of Nazareth in Judea 2000 years ago. And we must bow our knees to his teachings.

Jesus Christ! He alone is the hope of eternal mankind.

Even today, those who follow his teachings will see the true teacher reward.

Even today, we see true success in those who live in obedience to His teachings.

Last month, I visited a successful company called Harim in Iksan, Jeollabuk-do. It was a very successful company as a single company in Korea.

He is currently a deacon at Shinkwang Church in Iksan.

He was in his 40s, not even 50.

The pastor said that what he had planted in him, whatever his occupation, if he knew it as his vocation before God, held on to it and prayed, God would give him wisdom and the grace of prosperity.

This also comes from the interpretation of the Bible by the Reformer Luther.

We are saved through faith in Jesus Christ, and it is such a faith that anyone who is saved can go directly to God like a priest.

Therefore, it is argued that a profession should be regarded as a vocation received from God.

It is said that he bought chicks and raised them when he was 13 years old in middle school.

As the saying goes, I thought, 'I will make a profession that glorifies God in this field', and I have been working consistently until today, and now I have seen a large factory that processes 30,000 animals every day with great success.

All factories run on a fully automatic system, and I have seen that they have grown into a company that can win even in international competition.

Ordinary people had a simple idea of raising and selling chickens, but this person started with chicken poultry, and started with a total management to establish a comprehensive relationship with everything.

I have seen that ,,,,,, and all lead to one.

When all the companies went bankrupt during the last IMF, it is said that only 13 companies had a strong financial structure. One of them was the management.

What an amazing success. He said that he built the factory in such a place because he loved his hometown.

So what was the driving force behind this person's success?

Was it political? Or was it his own ability? It wasn't both.

As if confessing to himself, it was the lesson of the words he learned in Sunday School.

It is the teaching of the Word that he learned from Sunday School that made him so successful.

Proverbs 22:4 says, ?he reward of humility and the fear of the Lord is riches and glory and life.??The ability to obtain wealth is also given by God.

Proverbs 8:21 says, "For those who love me may find wealth and fill their treasuries." To those who love God, God promises to fill the storehouse with riches.

God doesn't give everyone wealth.

Because even if you give it, you will not sin by it, and you will give it to someone who will fill it in the storehouse and use it according to the word of God.

If you give it a little, it will no longer be entrusted to those who have already used it for their own sake.

This is the Bible's teaching about wealth.

Today, we earnestly hope that all of our saints will participate in any profession for the expansion of the kingdom of God on this earth by living according to the teachings of Jesus Christ, the true teacher of life. ??
