Title: Whatever you sow, you will also reap
Let's plant a lot of good seeds.
Do you know the wisdom of the world? This tale appears in an article titled 「The Wisdom of the World」 by Zig Ziglar, a successful scholar. The wise king of wisdom summoned the wise men and said, "Come in on the wisdom of the world." They gathered all the wisdom of the world and made 12 books. Then the king said, "This is too much and people will not read it, so cut it down to a small amount." So they reduced it to one book. The king said, "These are many, so give them more." They reduced it to 1 paper. The king said again, "Take this down to a word or two so that you can see it at a glance." They reduced the wisdom of the world to five letters. The king was very satisfied. That's what "nothing is free" means.
Sowing and reaping is an eternal and immutable truth. There is one eternal and immutable truth that is taught to us in God's creation order. It is the law of sowing and reaping. What are you planting now? In the near future you will reap what you sow. The text teaches you what to sow today.
First: Let's sow the seeds of service.
Word to read☞ "He who is taught, share good things with him who teaches the word"
Let's be servants. To be a good leader, you must learn to serve well. Only those who serve well can become leaders who teach well. If you do not serve yourself well, you should not try to be served by others. Most people try to be served by others while not serving themselves well. This is very rude when applying the sow and reap. The idea of reaping without sowing is theft. The Lord is warning these people. "...Treat others as you would like them to treat you..." (Matthew 7:12). You now share the good with those who teach you. Do your best to serve with the most beautiful thing. Take and serve the finest of the firstfruits. The day will come when you will reap those fruits.
Let's learn to serve Joshua. In the Bible, I would like to introduce a person who has fulfilled his mission as a servant. Joshua was a servant servant. He was the man who followed Moses in the wilderness forty years. He never left Moses. I have never turned my back on Moses and opposed him. He was Moses' servant and shadow. In particular, going to the battle of Amalek was like going to a place of execution. "Moses said to Joshua, "Choose men for us, and go out and fight against Amalek; tomorrow I will stand on the top of the mountain, with the staff of God in my hand" (Exodus 17:9). But he sacrificed his life and obeyed it. Later, he became a greater leader than Moses. So he went into Canaan, which Moses had not seen, and conquered it.
Second: Let us sow honest seeds.
Verse to read☞ "Do not deceive yourself; God is not deceived; whatever a man sows, that he will also reap" (7).
Let us not despise God. Let's not take God lightly. The most foolish life on this earth is a life without God and a life that despises God. “The fool says in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt and their deeds are abominable; there is no one who does good” (Psalm 14:1). People of the world despise God because they are afraid of those who are seen, but people of the Holy Spirit fear God who cannot be seen, but they are bold to those who are seen. “Peter and John answered and said, Judge whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to reveal the word of God; we cannot but speak what we have seen and heard” (Acts 4:19).
Let's learn honest David. To describe David's character in one word, he is an honest and sincere person. Luke said, "I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after my own heart, who will do all my will" (Acts 13:22). When he was sleeping before Saul in the cave of En-gedi, his men ordered him to be killed, but "...the LORD forbids me to stretch out my hand against my lord, whom the LORD has anointed..." (1 Samuel 24). :6) said. He did not infringe on the sovereignty of God in the slightest. Then God caused Saul to reap destruction because of his evil sowing, and David's mercy and mercy received God's favor.
Third: Let's plant spiritual seeds.
Verse to read: “He who sows to his flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but he who sows to the Spirit will also reap eternal life from the Spirit” (8)
Let's not live according to the body. Let's not live like Lot. Lot was very worldly in all things. When he sent out his servants, he only cared about pasture and sheep, not the gospel or eternal life. So, without shame, I fought with my uncle's servants. "Abraham said to Lot, "We are one flesh; let us not quarrel with each other, neither you nor my shepherd nor your shepherd" (Genesis 13:8). At that time, he had to choose to live with his uncle at all costs. But he lifted his eyes and looked at Sodom and Gomorrah. He later became a shameful beggar who lost everything.
Like Abraham, let us take spiritual things. Abraham completely gave up the worldly things that would perish in order to take hold of the spiritual. He held on to God's promise and left the country, his relatives, and his father's house (Genesis 12:1-4). He even risked losing everything to his nephew Lot in order to protect the Promised Land (Genesis 13:9). Following God's direction, he took Isaac and set off early in the morning for Moriah (Genesis 22:1-4). But he did not lose anything and got everything back. Because he sowed spiritual things in everything.
Fourth: Let us sow the seeds of patience.
Verse to read: “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest, if we do not tire”
Let's not be discouraged. Disappointment (落心) is the heart of falling joy (落). The moment your heart falls from God, you become discouraged. At that moment, the devil and the powers of Satan completely block the relationship between you and God. “But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from hearing you” (Isaiah 59:2). When you look to the world instead of looking to God, and fall into the ruins of the world, tares begin to grow in you (Matthew 13:25).
Let's learn the wisdom that Solomon taught. He said, "There is a season for every thing under heaven, and a time for every purpose to be fulfilled" (Ecclesiastes 3:1). A time to be born and a time to die. There is a time to plant and a time to uproot what has been planted. It's easy to get things wrong with a life in haste, not waiting for the right time. We must wait for God's time and wait for the time without backing down or getting discouraged. God is not impatient like you. Depending on the size and purpose of the bowl, the time of use varies. “He who sows with tears will reap with joy; he who goes out weeping to sow seed will surely return with joy, carrying the sheaf with joy” (Psalm 127:5-6).
Fifth: Let us sow faithful seeds.
Reading ☞ "Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to the household of faith" (10).
Let's not miss the opportunity. Everyone has a chance. But that opportunity is not always there. When there is abundance in your life, it is time to sow materially. It is a signal to share what the shed is full and overflowing. If you have clear wisdom that others do not know, it is time to take on the mission of teaching. There is not always a gun. If you have a healthy body, you should know that it is time to be loyal to death. Health does not fade and is not preserved forever.
Let us be faithful to the end like John God doesn't want the first-class, he wants the best that works hard. That's why the Lord said, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind" (Matthew 22:37). A life of faith is a decision for a better life. To the church in Smyrna, the Apostle John exhorted, "...Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life" (Revelation 2:10). John was one of the apostles who followed the Lord to the end. That is why I was also given the mission to take care of Mary, the mother of the Lord.
Dear saints!
You must know this secret. This is the law of sowing and reaping. ① You must sow to reap. ② You reap what you sow. ③ You reap what you sow. ④ When you sow, you must sow to reap. ⑤ When it is time to reap, it will stop. ⑥ Those who sow with weeping will surely reap the harvest with joy. Now is the time to plant. Let's plant a lot of good things. You will surely reap it in the not-too-distant future. Hallelujah! Amen
