Title: Whatever you sow, you will reap
Whatever you sow, you will reap.
Gal 6:7-9
God tells us that whatever we sow, we will reap what we sow. It is a Korean proverb that says that you plant beans and you get beans, you plant red beans and you grow red beans. There is never an accidental effect without a cause. Whatever the problem is, if you look for it, there will always be a cause. This is a spiritual law.
1. Jacob planted wrongly:
Jacob planted wrong from the start throughout his life. I planted wrong about my brother. Although Jacob had already received the promise that he would become the firstborn in his mother's womb, he could not wait for God's will and tried to accomplish it by his own means and methods. In Genesis 25:23, he said to Rebekah one day, "The LORD said to her, "Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples will be divided from within your womb, and one people will be stronger than the other, and the older will serve the younger." “Here, from the time of my mother's womb, God has spoken the words of prophecy through her. In other words, Esau said that he would serve his younger brother Jacob. Then, he had to believe in God, eat slowly, and wait, but he was impatient and mobilized all means and methods to accomplish God's will by his own strength. Taking advantage of his brother's difficult opportunity, he stole his birthright with a bowl of red bean porridge. When his brother Esau returned from hunting, he was very hungry, and Jacob was making red bean porridge.
2. Jacob reaping what he sows:
3. Jacob after 20 years of doing something wrong with his brother:
Jacob never dreamed that he would reap what he had done to his brother 20 years later. He returns to his hometown Sancheon with his wife and a herd of animals, but his older brother is holding on to his hometown. So Jacob sent his messenger to his brother first. My brother has been at his maternal uncle's house for 20 years, so please accept it. But the lion's face became like a blank slate, and he came back in confusion. As soon as you said you were coming back, your brother went out armed with 400 men. My brother has been grinding his teeth for 20 years. “Let’s see where he is. I will take revenge on you.” So when I heard that my brother was coming, I came armed with 400 men. Isn't it terrifying to bring four hundred armed men to the killing of one brother? Hearing this, Jacob felt his intestines melt.
4. Is it my way or God's way?
[Conclusion] Dear saints! Whatever you sow, you will reap. You can't avoid it just because you don't know what you've planted. Therefore, always sow good and reap blessings. Sow evil and do not reap evil. Whatever a man sows, he will also reap.
