Title: Wheat and chaff
One of the questions that people who are living in faith today wonder the most, am I really the one who has been saved? Are you unsaved? And by the way, do I belong to the wheat? Do you belong to the chaff? And you will have a lot of questions. People who neglected their religious life are more curious about this kind of thinking, while those who have worked hard in their religious life may have a relaxed mind.
If so, let's take a closer look at whether I am saved or unsaved! In order to understand the salvation problem of Christians today, it is necessary to examine the religious life of the Jews who started their religious life before us. The Jewish life is, in a word, a life under the law. Apart from the law, their life can never exist. That is why the law was so important to them.
As a result, they naturally thought that if they lived under the law, all the Israelites would naturally attain salvation. If human beings could keep the law perfectly, they could be saved. However, as a human being, no one can perfectly abide by the law. Nevertheless, they did not think about living in violation of the law, only thinking about keeping the law, thinking that everyone would be saved.
If they thought that they would be saved by keeping the law, why would God have called Abraham from Ur of the Chaldeans and gave them Isaac to their family, saying, “When the time is fulfilled, you will have a son” to those who had no children at the time? We all know that Isaac represents Jesus Christ who will come to the land of Israel in the future.
God never fulfills His will without foreshadowing. In other words, God always shows in advance the things that will happen in the future, and then fulfills his will. For example, after showing Joseph the things to come in a dream in advance, he fulfilled his will.
Therefore, the birth process of Ishmael and the story of Isaac's birth shown in the Old Testament foreshadows the Savior who will come before the people of Israel, and is also a very important example for solving the problems of their salvation in the future. That is how Jesus came to the land of Israel.
And in the womb of Isaac's wife Rebekah, conceived as twins at the same time, the older (Esau) is forsaken by God and the younger (Jacob) is chosen, foreshadowing the Savior who will come before Christians. The story of that time also foreshadows the very important things that will solve the problem of the salvation of Christians in the next 4,000 years.
After God shows everything in advance as a type, He accomplishes the work. If, as the Jews thought, they would achieve salvation by keeping the law, God would eventually show all of the things He showed through types only in vain.
If so, did God allow stories that had no meaning to be recorded in the Bible? If we believe that God never makes mistakes even if humans make mistakes, then we can see that it was absolutely wrong for the Jews to keep the law to achieve salvation.
After all, salvation is not obtained by keeping the law like the Jews did. It becomes clear that salvation can only be attained through the Son whom God has sent. So, have Christians today really reached full salvation because they believed in the name of Jesus, who came to the land of Israel?
If they really have come to full salvation, they must all have the Spirit of Jesus Christ in their hearts. This is not the Holy Spirit, but must be the Spirit of Christ. Then, what is the lack of those who have Jesus (Heaven) in their hearts, so that they go to worship every Sunday or every dawn?
Those who live under the law worship God in order to eventually gain the kingdom of heaven. But what more do those who claim to have attained heaven have to worship every day? Those who say they are saved and go to the chapel every day to worship, answer this question!
The fact that believers are worshiping is proof that they are still living under the law. The Jews who lived under the law also went to the temple to worship (sacrificing) every Sabbath. Likewise, the fact that Christians today also go to the chapel every week or every dawn to worship is clear evidence that they are all still living under the law of the Holy Spirit.
Then, just as Jews could not be saved by the law, so also Christians, no one can be saved by the law of the Holy Spirit. If Christians were also able to attain salvation through the law of the Holy Spirit, then again, God recorded a meaningless event in the Bible. In other words, God's abandonment of Esau and choosing Jacob means nothing.
But if we believe that God does not write the Bible for no reason, nor does he foretell what will never happen, then we must believe that the type of Jacob must also be the Son of God who will come before the Gentiles. will be. If Jacob, who was conceived as twins in Rebekah's womb and was chosen by God, was meaningless, the Bible would be nothing more than a midday Israel history book.
However, the Bible is not just a book about the history of Israel. The Bible records everything that will happen thousands of years into the future. Just as Jesus came to the land of Israel as a type of Isaac and forgave the sins of sinners who disobeyed the law and brought them to salvation, so the Son of God who came as a type of Jacob also came before Gentiles (Christians) and said that he was a sinner who disobeyed the Holy Spirit. Or, if an unbeliever confesses their conscience and comes out, the Son of God will forgive their sins and bring them all to salvation.
Jesus also said in the Bible that he would go back as a thief before the Gentiles, so this would not be wrong. And what Gentile Christians should not be mistaken is that the Son of God, who comes before the Gentiles as a type of Jacob, should never be thought of only as a kind and loving person like Jesus who comes to the land of Israel.
As we know, Jacob is not an obedient son like Isaac, but a deceiver who deceives his father and takes away his brother's birthright. Therefore, the Son of God who will come before Gentile Christians will also come in the same way. After all, it is hinted in advance that if Christians do not humble themselves as sinners, they will not be able to believe in the Son.
He is a type of Jacob, so he is not only fiery in character, but also looks like us, so he has a rough mouth, and because he only speaks about sin, it will never be easy for believers to admit and accept him until now. However, when he admits his sin and enters it, he will feel soft and cozy like cotton because the Lord is in his heart, unlike the appearance.
The one who kisses the Son of God who comes in this rough form will be sealed with grain among Gentile Christians. However, for those who only think that the Son of God who will come before the Gentiles like Jesus who came to the land of Israel is also kind and full of love, their own thoughts will act as a stumbling block to believing in the Son.
If you look at the lives of Christians today, they are all rotten on the inside, but their outward appearance is transformed into a very good angel like an angel. This will be a shortcut that will lead them to fall, and they will not believe in the Son of God who comes in a rough appearance like Jacob as their savior, so they will eventually become chaff.
The salvation of the Jews was not achieved by going to the temple and slaughtering cattle and slaughtering sheep, but by believing in the Son of God, whom God had sent as a type of Isaac. Likewise, the salvation of Christians today is not achieved by going to the chapel every day and worshiping in the name of Jesus, but only when they believe in the Son of God whom God sends as a type of Jacob.
However, the Son of God, who came as a type of Jacob, has not yet been revealed to Christians. The Lord knows that fake sons are playing a game right now before the real son comes. But when the time comes, he will surely reveal himself and sort out all the fakes.
Gentile Christians will have to wait for the coming of the Son of God with all their heart, all their souls, and all their minds in the given place until the Son of God comes. For now, in a little while, he will come soon. -He who has ears, let him hear and understand!-
