Old Testament

1. O LORD my strength, I love you.

2. The LORD is my rock, my fortress, my deliverer, my God, my rock in which I take refuge, my shield, the horn of my salvation, and my stronghold.

3. I will call on the LORD, who is to be praised, and I will be saved from my enemies.

new testament

37. And some of them said, Couldn't this man who opened the eyes of the blind keep him from dying?

38. And Jesus, again grieving within himself, went to the tomb, which was a cave, and was covered with stones.

39. Jesus said to him, "Remove the stone." Martha, the sister of the dead, said, "Lord, he has been dead for four days, and he already smells."

40. Jesus said to him, “Did I not say that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”

41. Having removed the stone, Jesus lifted up his eyes and looked up and said, “Father, I thank you for hearing me.

42. I knew that you always listen to me, but I say this for the sake of the crowd around me, that they may believe that you have sent me.

43. After saying this, he called with a loud voice, Lazarus, come out.

44. The dead man came out with his hands and feet tied in sackcloth, and his face was wrapped in a towel.

“Couldn’t this man who opened the eyes of the blind keep him from dying?” People thought that Jesus could do nothing because Lazarus had already died. But the Lord can. Because he is God, there is nothing he cannot do. When human strength is impossible, look to the Lord of power. How did the Lord cause miracles to happen to Lazarus, and also in our lives?

1. The Lord said to move the stones. The Lord does not do everything. The Lord does the work of raising the dead, but He made humans do what humans can do. In obedience to the word of the Lord, the people moved the stones. Throw away your unbelief and doubts that stand in the way of miracles, and come to the Lord in faith.

2. The Lord prayed. The Lord lifted up his eyes, looked up, and thanked the Father for hearing the prayer of the Son. Miracles are accomplished through prayer. Because prayer unlocks the power of God. Do we pray for everything? If Jesus, the Son of God, prayed too, what could happen to us without prayer?

3. The Lord called Lazarus with a loud voice. If Jesus had removed the name of Lazarus and simply said, “Come out,” everyone in the tomb would have come out alive. This means that the word of the Lord has the power to be fulfilled. Lazarus came out of the tomb. Let's believe that what the Lord says will come true in our lives as well. Miracles are given to those who believe.

Even today, God is still performing many miracles. The previously unimaginable is happening. Of all miracles, is there a greater miracle than a person's transformation? Those who are spiritually dead gain life. Those who mocked the faith and were absolutely opposed to it, believe in Jesus and be saved and become a new person. What is blocking your way right now? Don't be discouraged. The Lord wants to give you unimaginable miracles in your life of trust and obedience.
