Title: Where Are You?
Contents
When the wind blew that day, they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden. The Lord God called Adam and said to him, "Where are you?" (Genesis 3:8-9)
We are focusing all our attention on the outside. We see others and listen to others, we live our lives according to the will of others, we compare ourselves to others, and we live consciously of others only. Modern people observe and explore the natural world, and live with interest in that world and the problems of mankind. We live our lives worrying about our country and society. However, in this Bible today, God's first question to mankind is "Where are you?" It's a question to ask. In other words, first, God asks where I am. It's summer vacation season, and everyone goes to the mountains and out to the sea. But I hope that this holiday season should not be spent on idle rest, but as an opportunity for each to return to himself and ask where I am right now. This is also a question from God through my conscience.
"Where are you?"
I think today, even if you are looking for the mountains or the sea this summer, or just quietly spending a vacation at home, this time is a time to listen to God asking where you are and to check on me and find me right away. Please pray quietly for this and ponder the Bible.
