Who am I
(Genesis 1:26-31)
(…) Korea has the highest suicide rate among OECD countries. However, this country is still wandering without knowing the cause of the high suicide rate and without any countermeasures. It is true that many people commit suicide due to economic difficulties and weak mental will. Moreover, famous celebrities and socially responsible people choose to commit suicide, creating a Werther effect with frustration and disappointment.(…) The spirit of suicide must disappear from us. In order to get an answer on how to live, I would like to give a speech under the title “Who am I?” (…)
①I am in a relationship with God.
(…) God speaks and humans listen. My relationship begins with God. Without a relationship with God, I cannot exist. Without God, I am a poor being, empty, confused, and frustrated. Without being in relationship with God, my life has no purpose or meaning.(…) The confusion that causes suffering to humans lies in not discovering the meaning and responsibility of their existence. When we relate to God, human beings come to realize their meaning and value.
②I am a being that resembles God.
God created man in his own image. What does it mean? It means that I am a being that resembles God.(…) This means that I am a spiritual being. Being a physical being, we need material things. Being a spiritual being, we need intellect and emotion. However, since they are spiritual beings, they long for and ask for the Holy Spirit. (…) Those who resemble God must live according to the Word of God.
③I am a positive person.
(…) God evaluated everything He created as good. And he was very happy. Above all, it awakens us to positive thinking and a positive attitude. God says it's good, how can I say it's bad? God's promises become Yes in the Lord. What God created is good, and if we receive it with thanksgiving (Yes!), nothing is to be discarded. Life itself is positive and Yes.(…)
④I am a blessed being.
(…) He created humans and blessed them by saying, “Be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth.” (…) God has blessed me, so we need to understand why I say that I am not blessed. We hear stories like this. “I have no luck. A bitch without a Western blessing has no children's hall. I'm bad at selling... !” Because they have committed many sins, they do not know their worth. The Christian faith must believe and testify that we are the blessed ones, regardless of our circumstances, and live a blessed life like those who have been blessed.
"Who am I?" He's a good person. I am a person who prays and blesses me by calling my name every day. I am a good person. I am a blessed person. I am a God-like person who should live in a close relationship with God. Amen.
