Title: Who Am I? (2 Timothy 4:6-8)
Contents
“Are you a fighter? Are you a non-fighting person?”
① “I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course…” (verse 7) ② “You shall suffer with me as a good soldier of Christ, for no one who goes on a military service is entangled in his life, To please those who recruited him” (2 Timothy 2:3~4) ③ As the saying goes, the earthly life of true faith is a life of continuous battle. ④ Continue the invisible spiritual battle between the fleshly man inside you, the world outside yourself, sin, and the devil until you enter the gates of heaven without a second truce. ⑤ Fighting is the main job of a believer's life, and those who do not have fights are dead and forsaken, not Christians.
“Are you proud of Jesus or are you ashamed of Him?”
① The salvation that Jesus gave is infinitely precious and valuable, which cannot be changed even if he gives all the glory of the world. ② Therefore, those who know this value will naturally explode in the pride of Jesus to anyone, anywhere, anytime. ③ Those who are shy and withdrawn from believing in Jesus are the devil's servants and those who will be rejected and rejected by the Lord at the judgment seat of God. ④ Living water gushes out of the well he dug, but he who eats alone and ignores his neighbor who dies of thirst is a very bad person. ⑤ Those who do not boast of the Lord and the salvation of the Lord's blood and are ashamed are the worst.
“Are you a soul lover? Are you indifferent?”
① Jerusalem, Jerusalem... How many times have I tried to gather your children together as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings...” (Matthew 23:37) The Lord who was mourning ② “I have great sorrow, To have unending pain in my heart… even if I myself am cursed and cut off by Christ for my brothers and sisters, I want them to be cut off by Christ” (Romans 9:1~3) ③ The heart of the Lord and Paul burning with longing to be.
“Is it the salt of the world? Is it the salt of the church?”
① He said, “You are the salt of the world,” not “you are the salt of the church.” ② Saints must pickle and occupy the world with the salty taste of apology, justification, reconciliation, new life, and truth and inspiration to anyone, anywhere, anytime, anywhere in the world outside the church. ③ No matter how good the religious life in the church is, it is just the salt contained in the vessel called the church. ④ The salt in the church must go out into the world and become the salt of the world. ⑤ There is a lot of salt in the church today, but there is no salt in the world, so sin continues to reign.
“Is it God-centered or heaven-centered? Self-centered, world-centered?”
① “Get behind me, Satan; you are a stumbling block to me, for you do not think about God’s things, but only men’s things” (Matthew 16:23) ② Self-centered Peter who served the Lord with the center of the world was Satan. rebuked ③ True faith is receiving the Holy Spirit and moving by the power of the Holy Spirit, and no human method is necessary. ④ As the Holy Spirit leaves the Korean church today, what kind of church growth seminar is it... All human, worldly, methods, means, and technologies are being mobilized. ⑤ No matter how great a human being has done, the Lord judges, “I never knew you; depart from me, you who practiced this lawlessness.”
