Title: Who are the spiritually successful people?
Contents
God creates and uses people rather than looking for them. We call such a person a person of faith (a servant of God) or a person who has been called. The person who accomplished the three miracles in the history of the modern church - Born in a really poor family, but became a global chaebol, the businessman who worked the most with material among people of faith, and the wealthy chaebol who was blessed with the number of 98 This is Rockefeller. He had a lot of wealth, but he confessed, "I didn't make it, God gave it to me." During his lifetime, he founded 24 universities, built 4928 churches, and built numerous welfare centers and dedicated them to God. What made him a spiritual success? It was a legacy of faith in my mother. Who is a believer? Faith is not just faith.
First, there must be spiritual training that goes beyond the physical limitations.
“Leave your country and your relatives and your father’s house and go to the land I will show you” (verse 1) - This command was given not only to Abraham, the father of faith, but also to all people of faith. But these words are stuck in our heads. I don't obey. It's too far from the scene of life. It is dead faith (James 2:26), God commands Abraham, who had been accustomed to the world for 75 years, to depart from his place of the flesh. He took him to a place of spiritual training where he did not know where he was going. It is to make tools for accomplishing God's will through rigorous training. Now let us live in God's way. This spiritual training is 1) training to thoroughly break the self.
2) It trains us to be joyful (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). It increases the capacity of faith. It strengthens the inner foundation. He does not give you the easy way, but the best way and the best thing (James 1:22-25).
Second, you must become a person of dreams (vision) and gifts.
"Go to the land I will show you. I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, and you will be a blessing." - God's people are people of dreams. A person of faith is a person of dreams and blessings. This is God's covenant. A person of faith makes a decision. wait. I hope in God. All things are possible (Philippians 4:13). Therefore, there must be a flag of mission that can hold on to life, and a vision that can burn life. If we hold onto our calling and vision, our life gets better every day. When you exercise your gifts, the fruits of joy will appear. In the face of an age that demands change, the church must be able to embrace the next generation and become a witness to inherit the faith (Acts 1:8; Romans 12:2).
This is called dynamic power. When you become a new person through the grace of the Holy Spirit, God reveals the reality of your faith (Romans 4:17-18; Hebrews 11:1-2).
Third, we must make our neighbors spiritually successful.
“I will make you great, and you will be a blessing” (verse 3) - Those who are spiritually successful make others happy. Let us become saints who save the nation by becoming intercessors and evangelists (Exodus 32:32; Romans 9:3; Matt 28:19-20). Abraham sacrificed his son Isaac as a burnt offering. Build your son's faith. And it becomes a source of blessing (Genesis 22:17-18). It lays the foundation of faith for three generations of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. So you become the father of faith. According to the covenant that "all families on earth will be blessed through you" (Genesis 12:3), "In your descendants all peoples under the earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed my word" (Genesis 22:16-18). I did. Moses, David, the apostle Peter, Paul, etc. are the great servants of spiritual faith shown in the Bible (Hebrews 12).
Hallelujah!!
