Title: Who Gets True Salvation?
Contents
God has two sons. First the physical son, then the spiritual son. The natural son is the son born according to the flesh, and the next son is the son born according to the promise. There is no salvation for the son who is born after the flesh, only the son who is born according to the promise has salvation.
The Bible says, “It is written, ‘Abraham had two sons, one by the slave girl and the other by the free woman; but of the slave woman after the flesh, and of the free woman by promise” (Galatians 4:22-23). It's like what's been done.
What we know here is that in Abram's time (possibly) the servant Hagar gave birth to an illegitimate son, and in "Abraham" (if not possible) the superior Sarah gave birth to him. I gave birth to a son to inherit. It is as it is written, “Abraham hoped and believed in hope, so that he might become the father of many nations, just as it was said, so shall your descendants be” (Romans 4:18).
Therefore, unless it comes to “faith through faith,” it is not faith that saves souls. If you do not go from “Abram” to “Abraham,” it is the same as having nothing to inherit. The first belief is the belief with the self, and the next belief is the belief without the self. The faith that saves the soul is a faith without self (flesh).
Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, has two names. First “Jesus of Nazareth” and then “Christ Jesus”. Jesus of Nazareth is the Jesus who saves the body, and Christ Jesus is the Jesus who saves the soul. Jesus of Nazareth is the Jesus who heals, feeds, and performs miracles, and Christ Jesus is the Jesus who was crucified. Jesus of Nazareth is the Jesus of the process, and Christ Jesus is the Jesus of the consummation.
Therefore, it is written, “Jews ask for signs, and Greeks seek wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified, to Jews a stumbling block and to Gentiles foolishness, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is of God. power and the wisdom of God” (1 Corinthians 1:22-24).
A person is justified by believing in Christ Jesus with his heart. When we come to faith in our hearts that God raised Jesus of Nazareth from the dead, this faith is “a true heart and complete faith.” It is the same as it is written, “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved...” (Romans 10:9). Therefore, Jesus of Nazareth is the dead Jesus and Christ Jesus is the living Jesus. Those who do not have this faith are sure to shipwreck in their faith.
It is written, “Have faith and a good conscience, for some have cast aside this conscience, and as to their faith they have been shipwrecked” (1 Timothy 1:19). Men are corrupt in spirit, forsaken as to the faith” (2 Timothy 3:8).
So the Lord Himself said, “Go and say to the fox, Today and tomorrow I will cast out demons and heal people, and on the third day I will be made whole” (Luke 13:32). Today and tomorrow, through Jesus of Nazareth, and on the third day through Jesus who was crucified, the eternal gospel was fulfilled.
Many people only know Jesus of Nazareth, who saves the body, but not Christ Jesus, who saves the soul. For those who only know Jesus of Nazareth and follow their lusts, Jesus who was crucified becomes a rock through which they stumble.
It is written, “Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his mother, saying, Behold, this child is set for a sign that will be slandered for the fall and rise of many in Israel, and a sword will pierce your heart as a sword will pierce your heart. To reveal the thoughts of the heart” (Luke 2:34-35) and “It has also become a stone of stumbling and a rock of stumbling.” They stumble because they disobey the word, for this is how it was ordained them” (1 Peter 2:8). ) did.
Carnal faith is not perfect faith. Therefore, you can never enter the kingdom of God through carnal faith. There is no perfect burnt offering in fleshly faith. This is because the body of sin must be destroyed to be freed from sin and achieve righteousness without sinning again.
Therefore, concerning the kingdom of God, the Bible testifies, “According to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells” (2 Peter 3:13).
“We know that our old self was crucified with Jesus so that the body of sin might be put to nothing, that we should no longer be enslaved to sin, because the dead have been set free from sin” (Romans 6: 6-7) Amen,
“The dead are freed from sin....” Thank you, Lord.
