Title: Who is Foolish? /Proverbs 18:1-8
The text exhorts us not to be fools by enumerating the characteristics of fools.
What are the characteristics of a fool?
1. Self-righteousness
Verse 1...< He who separates himself from the crowd follows his own desires. It rejects all true wisdom.>
There are those who fall into self-righteousness with their tiny organs. He is obsessed with heroism and thinks that he deserves special treatment. And he thinks his or her opinion should be accepted almost absolutely by everyone. So, in the end, it breaks the unity of everyone and promotes division.
-- Those who follow their own desires... Truly dangerous and foolish.
2. Those who reject understanding
Verse 2: <A fool does not delight in understanding, but only in revealing his will.>

--Jeremiah 9:24...< Let the one who boasts boast in this, that he may have understanding and know me, that he may know that I, the LORD, are the doers of kindness, fairness, and uprightness in the earth. I take pleasure in this, saith the LORD.>
2) Give weak humans the ability to live in the world.
--Proverbs 8:14-16...< I have counsel and true knowledge; I am understanding. Because I have power, through me kings rule, princes establish justice, and through me kings and nobles rule, all the judges of the earth.
3) Let the world live right.
--Proverbs 15:21...< An ignorant man delights in foolishness, but a man of understanding makes his way straight.
But fools hate this understanding. And there are those who live by pretending to be only themselves. They are really stupid
