Title: Who is God?/Job 25:1-3

Content Job 25:1-3

God?

The world of visible phenomena, all things that are filled in this world, where is there that God has not given us? Not to mention our bodies, even a single hair is given by God. And even though it is invisible, how vast and precious are our spiritual worlds that God has given us? That's right. All things, whether visible or invisible, are things God has given us.

What does the text tell us?

##### 1. He gives you dignity

Bildad's words....He first emphasized that God has power and majesty (v. 2).

This shows that God is the One who has absolute universal sovereignty and shows his majesty. In fact, there is nothing more sublime and fearful for us than the majesty of God.

So God called Moses from Mount Horeb earlier and said, “Do not come near here. Take off your sandals from your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.> Exodus 3:5 says.

-- Not only this. There are places in the New Testament where God's majesty is expressed. After referring to judgment, the writer of Hebrews warns in Hebrews 10:31, "It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God." That's right. Truly, God is majestic, and He is the One who always gives us that majesty.

Nevertheless, many people live their lives as they please because they do not know the majesty of God. Indeed, the majesty of God rules over sin. That is why we must always fear such majesty.

##### 2. He brings peace

Bildad goes on to say in verse 2 that God is the One who gives peace in the highest. In fact, if we only think about the majesty of God, our members cannot let go of their hearts for even a moment. This is because God's majesty is recognized as finding only our transgressions and sins and punishing them only.

But on the inside, he has a passionate love for him. What more can we say about God, the Father of all? So, in 1 John 4:16, the apostle John declared his attributes in one word: <God is love>.

Indeed, in the Old Testament, God appears to be feared, but in reality, it is not. The reason is that 'The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness' (Jon 4:2) is recorded throughout the Old Testament. Indeed, the source of God's peace is in His love.

Indeed, humankind has been working tirelessly to create peace with human power. However, the only legacy that mankind has left behind is a tremendous weapon. This is truly a prime example that man can never make peace. Therefore, we must now look to the peace of God in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17). Because he is still bringing peace to the earth today.

##### 3. Gives light

Bildad goes on to say that God is the Giver of light.

Verse 3...<Who is not shone by the light of that light?>

Dear saints!

There is nothing in this world that can truly save humans who are engulfed in darkness. Let's think of God who gives us such light today. Truly, He is still working for the salvation of mankind.

--Actually, no matter how bright the sun is, the blind man who cannot open his eyes has no choice but to be in darkness. Likewise, the blind man cannot see the light of God no matter how bright it is. Therefore, we must first open our mind's eyes brightly.

Let us praise the light of God. The coming of Jesus Christ is the light, the light. I hope you spend the seasons thinking about the Lord's coming and suffering.
