Title: Who is Jesus?

Content >

Romans 3:21-24

end? It is a new title, but it is a title that must always be confessed anew. We break the Lord's Supper today because this confession must always be renewed. Knowing who you are, confessing right away, and taking the Lord's Supper humbly before him.

1. Jesus the Savior

bsp;?First, you are my Savior. The confession of being the Savior is the confession that He forgave my sins and made me a people of heaven. Three things are clear to those who confess that He is the Savior.

bsp; First, we believe that humans have souls.

bsp; Second, we believe that there is an eternal kingdom of God.

bsp; Third, I believe in washing away my sins only through the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross.

Some people ask me why I am a sinner. I'm a person who lives without the law..., I've never harmed anyone..., I've never done anything bad... You are all good people. What kind of great sin would most people commit?

But we must know that not believing in God and not worshiping God are the greatest sins. You should know that selfishness without love is a sin, even though it does not harm others. You may not have done anything very bad, but you must realize that not actively doing the will of God is a sin. Just as if you believe in the grace of the cross and live in the world only with your talents, you must know that living without prayer, not praying, is a sin. Even if you do not act outwardly, you must know that hatred, dirty thoughts, and false words in your heart are sins.

bsp; I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want to do.

bsp; If I do what I do not want to do, it is not I who do it, but sin that dwells in me...

bsp; ... O wretched man I am, who will deliver me from this body of death. Romans 7:19-24bsp;

bsp; All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

bsp; freely by the grace of God through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus

bsp; He has been justified. Romans 3:23-24

Only through the cross of Jesus can we receive the forgiveness of sins and become the promised people in the eternal kingdom, so only Jesus is our Savior. I hope this confession will be your clear confession.

2. Shepherd Jesus

bsp; The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.... Psalm 23:1

bsp; I am the good shepherd...John 10:11

The Christian life does not mean living only with the soul. Everyone has a body and lives with the problems of the flesh. That is why there cannot be no prayer for the body, material things, and life. You have to be more earnest. In the process, sometimes we pass through the valley of the shadow of death, and sometimes we meet storms. But we are not afraid because we believe that the Lord, the Shepherd, is with us. It is because we believe that in any storm, if the Lord is with us, He will calm the storm. Therefore, we Christians must boldly go before the Lord and pray with these physical pains, difficulties in life, and material problems. This is our confession of being our shepherds. Jesus, our shepherd.

3. Master Jesus

bsp;? Not only the grace of forgiveness of sins and the grace of guiding you, but you clearly taught me how to live life. To believe in Jesus means to follow His teachings. This is a confession of being the teacher of our life.

Most of what he did when he came into the world was teaching. He taught about God, about life, about the kingdom of God, about the right life, and about the lives of God's people. He taught love, he taught service, he taught obedience. A Christian is a person who lives according to this teaching in life and the goal of life. That is why? He is our teacher.

Although Christians are eager for the grace of forgiveness of sins and for the grace that leads them, there are many cases where they are indifferent to living according to the teachings. What we believe is to see the world according to His teachings, and to live the world by His teachings. It must be love, our love. It must be humility and service, our service. Obedience, our obedience. this should be Living like this is the way to become a true Christian who spreads his will on this earth.

Who are you? Our Savior. So we are saved? He is our shepherd. That is why we can bring any difficult problems to Jesus and pray. He is our teacher. He continued to teach and set an example for the lives of the people of heaven. That is why we must follow and imitate His teachings.

Today, at the Lord's Supper, we pray that we will kneel down to the Savior Jesus, entrust our lives to the Shepherd Jesus, and pray to be like the Master, and bless them to become gracious saints who participate in the bread and cup.
