Title: Who is successful?
Contents
As a living being, God watches and observes the world.
Proverbs 5:3- “The eyes of the Lord are everywhere to see the wicked and the good.”
Although there are many people on this earth, God's eyes distinguish between the righteous and the wicked, and He will help the righteous and destroy the wicked who are not born again.
▣ The Apostle Paul compared the world we live in in Romans 3:10-12.
“As it is written, There is none righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands, there is no one who seeks God; all have turned aside and together they have become useless; there is no one who does good, not even not one.” Said.
▣ What does the Apostle Paul say about the born-again believers that there is no one righteous?
It means that many people are wearing the clothes of Christianity, but they are pursuing and chasing after a worldly life without being cultivated inside.
(Rebuke for not throwing away old customs)
Jesus, whom God sent as his Son into the world, humbly laid down their sins and evil before God on this earth, had God's life, and sought those who would live with God's help.
▣ What was the suffering of the cross that Jesus suffered when he came from this earth?
It was a suffering and a holy sacrifice to change the life of a sinner and a wicked person into a righteous person.
After God testified of God's righteousness to the world through His Son, God the Holy Spirit is now with those who have filled their hearts with the blood of Jesus while experiencing the world with us.
▣ God will keep the righteous and the wicked together for a while on this earth, but on that day (the last day) God will distinguish between the righteous and the wicked, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats, and the righteous will have eternal life. You said to throw me into eternal punishment,
Matthew 25:32-33 “All the nations shall be gathered before him, and he will separate them from each other, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats, with the sheep on his right hand and the goats on his left.”
Each individual strives to make the most of life's once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to succeed and live a meaningful, rewarding, and happy life.
▣ Those who do not know the Lord live on the basis of their own life experiences and extensive knowledge of the world in order to achieve their goals of success and success.
▣ How do people of God live a successful life both physically and spiritually?
It is only when we humble ourselves that we lay down our experience of life and our extensive knowledge of the world before God and ask for God's help in order to be used preciously in the sight of God and people (like Paul in Philippians 3).
▣ In Ecclesiastes 1:8, God speaks about the greed hidden in the heart
“The eye is not satisfied with seeing, and the ear is not satisfied with hearing.” He says that people can never be satisfied while they live on this earth.
Those who have a lot work hard to have more, and those who don't have to work tirelessly to fill what they don't have.
▣ Even in these realities of life, there is a person who manages their hearts and thoughts with the word of God and makes their dreams come true, and that person is Joseph.
▣ Joseph is the 11th son of Jacob's 12 sons. According to Genesis 37, he had a dream at the age of 17.
What is the dream about?
The brothers were tying grain in the field, and their own sheaf stood up, and the other eleven sheaves bowed around them. He had a dream in which the sun, the moon, and eleven stars bowed down to him. speak.
Because Joseph is the eleventh son born to Rachel, whom Jacob loved the most, he is like an ugly duckling to his brothers because he dresses in color and monopolizes Jacob's love.
However, when he had such a dream and was telling his family twice, Joseph's brothers were planning to kill him. When Joseph came to a place called Shechem to run his father's errand, the brothers threw Joseph into a pit and threw him into Egypt. sells them for twenty pieces of silver to the slave traders of
▣ Why did Joseph begin to suffer like this?
It was just because he had a dream and told the dream to his brothers. In order to fulfill Joseph's dream, God did not prepare a good environment and a highway to Zion, but he prepared a prison where he would be imprisoned along with false false accusations.
Even looking at these facts, we can see that God's thoughts and our thoughts, God's plans and fulfillment are very different from the plans of our lives.
Everyone seeks wisdom and seeks blessings in the world to make their lives better, but a life without God is a life of failure in itself, even if people admit it,
A life with God may seem like a life of failure to people, but it can be a life of success.
This time, taking Joseph as an example, we will look at the secret of a successful life by being recognized in the presence of God and men and recognized by the world.
1. Those who love their neighbors can succeed in the Lord.
There are many people around us, and there are many others besides me in our family members, and we will have to ask ourselves.
Is the existence of “I” now helpful and able to help someone? is the question. Although we are in a position to confidently answer “yes” to this question, the problem is that we do not know the power and authority we have.
To think that you can't help someone because you don't have financial authority or because you don't have the strength and ability is a mistake and you hate yourself.
▣ Everyone has no choice but to lose financial and physical strength at some point, but we have the power, authority, and ability to use them forever.
It is none other than “prayer” as the power of words.
▣ Because Joseph was a boy who grew up with the blessings of his father, he was a slave at Potiphar's house, but he was with God, so according to Genesis 39:2, that house was blessed.
Joseph's dream comes true because he benefits Potiphar's house through slavery. Although we do not have the financial strength and ability, we have the authority to pray for anyone other than myself.
God said in Numbers 14:28
Remembering the words, “Your words will do what my ears hear”, we must all live a life of service and devotion for someone, not in our words, our actions, or our selfish life, only for God to exalt ourselves. Remembering that He is the Lord, I bless you for your dedication and service for the church, people, neighbors, and saints.
2. A person with a dream, that is, a person with a clear purpose in life, can succeed.
Joseph's suffering begins with a dream, but God uses a person who has a dream.
When Joseph was 17 years old, he had a dream about a harvest.
It was a dream in which father, mother, and eleven brothers, like the sun and moon, bowed down to him.
In some ways, this dream seemed absurd and unrealistic to Joseph, but when Jacob heard the dream, he puts Joseph's dream in his heart, and Joseph is confident that the dream will come true.
A person who has a clear purpose and dream in life does not want to waver or back down in the face of various obstacles in life, but a life without a dream can easily collapse even in the face of small difficulties.
▣ The price of the dream Joseph had was a wage that was too much suffering in reality, but Joseph did not waver in the face of realistic suffering because he had a clear dream.
I hope that Hanmaum Church members will also have a clear dream for the church, themselves, their families, and their families, so that they can succeed with God's help. (Please show God your purpose.)
▣ We must have absolute faith and trust in God to live a successful life.
surely! Will God even answer these things? Doubts are the biggest obstacle to the path of God-given blessings and at the same time a condition that destroys ourselves.
If any of us do not have a dream for the church and family, reset our dream right now and give God the desire of our heart, so please receive God's help.
3. Those who are faithful to their work can succeed.
God's people can receive God's help only when they have the eye of faith as well as the spiritual discernment that can clearly distinguish their main and side jobs.
Before we were born again, our main job was to eat, drink, wear, and live, but after being born again, we must acknowledge that our main job is to live for the kingdom of God and His righteousness, so that we can live a successful life with God's help.
Not only did Joseph have the pride of being a descendant of Abraham, but he also had faith that the things God promised through Abraham would come true, that is, that God would bless his descendants to thousands of generations. that could have been
▣ I have testified through the Word countless times that successful faith, that is, faith pleasing to God, is to lay down one's life experiences and extensive knowledge of the world before God.
▣ Most of the common faith life of the saints who succeeded both spiritually and physically in the Bible or around them?
The answer is that it is the result of clearly distinguishing between the main job and the side job.
Just as a person who works hard in the world can be successful, a believer who can succeed with God's help must have the same effort and zeal for the life of faith and the life of the flesh.
Most of the saints put in sufficient effort and strive to succeed in their physical life, but they do not make any effort to succeed in their spiritual life so that the Lord guarantees their physical life.
We will someday stand before the judgment seat of the Lord Matthew 25:21 - “Come into my banquet, good and faithful servant.”
Or Matthew 25:30- You will hear a voice saying, “Cast out the evil and useless servant into the outer darkness.” What kind of voice do you want to hear at the judgment seat of God? Our bodies are opportunities.
For all of us to have a clear purpose of life in the Lord, like Joseph, for a successful life, I hope that you will be blessed by God by faithfully fulfilling your duties while having a good influence on others.
