There is one thing in common that can be found in the world's over 6 billion people.
It's all about living a happy life.
1. Blessed people live while avoiding sins (Verse 1)
1) Blessed people do not follow the counsel of the wicked.
- Wicked: One who is convicted in court - Scheme: Cunning thought
2) Blessed people do not stand in the path of sinners.
- Sinner: A person who lives a life that deviates from the signs set by God
- Proverbs 14:12, Isaiah 53:6 Everyone has gone astray...
3) A blessed person does not sit in an arrogant seat.
- Arrogant: An arrogant person who lives by ridiculing and ridiculing evil words.
- Proverbs 16:18,
“Christians today want to live a happy life, but not a holy life.”
2. Blessed are the people who live close to the word (verse 2).
1) Blessed people live while enjoying the word of God.
- When the Word is heard, there must be a response of great joy to the Word.
- Psalm 119:103 “It is sweeter than the honey of your word”
2) Blessed people meditate on the Word of God day and night.
- Meditate: Take out what you read and hear again and chew the cud.
- 3 blessings when meditating
a. The Word will be engraved in your heart and you will live a life governed by the Word (Colossians 3:16)
b. You will be able to overcome the temptations of the world and live a victorious life (Psalm 119:9,11)
c. Live with biblical thinking. (What will happen,... decide)
3. Blessed are the people who bear fruit and live a prosperous life (verse 3).
1) Blessed people live by bearing fruit.
- (John 15:1-8)
2) Blessed is the man whose leaves do not wither. (The root of faith is a stream...)
3) Blessed people prosper in what they do.
- Who is really prosperous? Genesis 39 2, 3, 23
Conclusion>
Let's live as blessed people by turning away from sin and drawing near to God's Word.
Let's live a prosperous life that bears fruit and does not wither.
