Title: Who Is Used by God?

Contents

People always try to achieve something through someone who has learned a lot, has a good family, or has a lot of experience. But God is different. Like Elijah, you could be used by God even if you didn't have a family, education, or experience to put forward. So, how can we be used by God like Elijah?

1.( ) must be overcome.

The era Elijah lived was a dark age when Israel, who was supposed to serve God, from the king to the servants, priests, and all the people, worshiped idols and turned away from God. Rather than despair and discouragement because of these circumstances, he overcame them by faith. He overcame a desperate situation by relying on God. Therefore, do not be afraid of the circumstances you are in. I hope that you and I will depend on God, who is a master of overturning, and overcome circumstances with faith like Elijah.

2. ( ) must not.

In Elijah's day, many people compromised with the world because they were afraid of King Ahab and Queen Jezebel. But Elijah did not compromise. Rather, he was ready to die and delivered God's message (verse 1) to King Ahab. How are you guys? If it is known that you believe in Jesus, are you making compromises by pretending not to believe in Jesus for fear of being bullied by others? In the name of the Lord, I pray in the name of the Lord that you and I will not compromise with the world at work, at work, at school, at home, but rather live by the Word of God.

3. You must ( ) in the Word.

Elijah obeyed God's word, prepared for martyrdom, went to King Ahab and warned, "Without the word of God, neither rain nor dew will fall for many years." Elijah did not understand, but he obeyed God's word and went to the brook Cherith in front of the Jordan and stayed there. There, he realized that even without bread and meat, he could live if he only depended on God, and through obedience training, he was prepared as a servant of God. How are we? Are you reluctant to obey God's Word by making excuses and excuses?

Like D. L. Moody and Elijah, you can be used by God even if you do not have a family, academic background, or experience to show off.

1. Environment 2. Compromise 3. Obedience
