Entrepreneurs around the world try to use such a person
There is such a funny story.
When South Korean soldiers were dispatched to Vietnam, South Korean women followed them saying, “I love you, I love you,” probably because Korean soldiers were popular at the time. The South Korean military responded to the women with “Funny”. The Vietnamese woman was strange, so I asked another soldier next to me what it meant to mean “funny”, and ironically, she replied, “I Iove you.” “I love you” is followed by saying, “It’s funny, it’s funny,” and when they boarded a boat to leave for Korea, Vietnamese women lined up on the dockside, crying and beckoning, saying, “It’s funny, it’s funny.” It's a really funny story, isn't it? This funny fact was created because the heart and mind do not work together. If the relationship between God and our saints does not really work, and our religious life is funny in the eyes of God, it is truly a tragedy.
There is a story like a legend in Ohio, USA.
One day, a young man named Jim came to the house of Mr. Taylor, who runs a large farm, and asked for a job. Because he looked so diligent, Mr. Taylor gave permission, and he worked in the hay shed, sleeping and eating haphazardly. As he worked very sincerely and hard, Mr. Taylor's daughter fell in love with Jim, and eventually fell in love with each other. Upon learning of this, Mr. Taylor was startled, scolding me for chasing my daughter for a subject that had no money and no genealogy, and kicked me out. One day, 30 years later, as Mr. Taylor was cleaning out a warehouse for repairs, he found his name, James A. Garfield, engraved by Jim with a knife on a pole of the warehouse. Garfield was then president of the United States. If Mr. Taylor had recognized the person 30 years ago, he would have become the father-in-law of the president, but the fact that Jim's possessions and his affiliation are unclear, so he does not care about his sincerity and truth, making this mistake. . What would you use as your criteria when choosing a person?
We have to be very careful when we meet a son-in-law or daughter-in-law in each family. You have to look at the person you are and look at the heart, because there is a tendency to pay too much attention to academic background, family, wealth, and appearance. Especially these days, it seems that a lot of weight is placed on the person's affiliation. As members of our church, we must see faith as our number one priority. Amen.
Today's text (1 Samuel 16:7) The Lord said to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance or his height, for I have forsaken him. I do not look like men do. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." He says.
The Bible (Acts 10:34) “...God is no respecter of persons”, (Romans 2:11) “...God is no respecter of persons”, (Ephesians 6:9) “…you know that in him there is no favoritism” (Colossians 3:25), “…the Lord is no favoritism in outward appearance.”
It is common for people to judge people by their outward appearance, but God does not judge people by their outward appearance. Also, the eyes that God observes/observes are accurate and see through the heart of people without making a single mistake.
The Bible says (Psalm 94:9), “Does he not hear, who made the ear, or does not he who made the eye see?”
It is God who made our eyes. Therefore, with eyes that are tens of millions of times more accurate than ours, he is watching every move we take.
(Job 11:11) God knows vain people, and he doesn't seem to care about evil, but he sees everything.
He is not a God who sees some things and does not see others. You don't see things like that, you don't know these things, but why do you leave evil people alone? There are times when you think that way, but God sees everything.
He looks at everything between good and evil, and when he judges, he will accurately distribute rewards, crowns, and punishments from hell.
1. He saw Noah's justification (Genesis 7:1). = He sees your righteousness.
(Genesis 7:1) The LORD said to Noah, "Go into the ark, you and all your household, for I have found you righteous before me in this generation."
2. Nathanael Recognized even without seeing him (John 1:48). = Even if you have never seen it, you recognize it.
(John 1:48) Nathanael said to him, "How do you know me?" Jesus answered and said to him, "Before Philip called you, I saw you under the fig tree.
3. He saw the faith of the paralytic (Mark 2:5). = He sees your faith.
(Mark 2:5) When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven you."
4. He saw the tears of King Hezekiah (2 Kings 20:5). = He also sees your tears.
(2 Kings 20:5) I have heard your prayers and have seen your tears.
5. He saw the widow's offering (Luke 21:2-3). = We also look at your donations.
(Luke 21:2-3) And when he saw a poor widow putting in two laps, he said, "Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put in more than all of them."
6. He saw Abraham's faithfulness (Nehemiah 9:8). = I see your loyalty.
(Nehemiah 9:8) When he saw that his heart was faithful before the Lord,
7. God looked at the suffering of his people (Exodus 3:7). = He sees your pain.
(Exodus 3:7) Says the LORD, I have certainly seen the affliction of my people in Egypt, and they have heard their cry because of their craftsman, and they know their weeping.
Dear Oh Geum Family,
God sees and hears us accurately. He sees in detail our church life, family life, work life, social life, school life, and the center of our thoughts and hearts.
Then, what kind of person does God want to see and write?
1. Like King David (a man worthy of God's heart), he is a true repentant/contrite person.
The Bible (Psalm 34:18) says that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Even Saint Augustine, the world-famous saint, said that when he repented, when he remembered the sins he had committed in the past, he bit off his forearm and repented to the point of bleeding.
Martin Luther also said that when he remembered his sins, he repented and fainted.
Only repentance is the condition for forgiveness, the condition for living, the condition for what can happen, and the condition for going to heaven. Amen.
2. Like King David (a man worthy of God's heart), he is a person of truth/honesty/loyalty.
The Bible (Psalm 51:6) You desire truth in the heart, that you may know wisdom in me (Psalm 84:11) For the Lord … will spare no good from the upright. .
Even if you are misunderstood, as long as you are sincere and honest, the day will come when you will be recognized.
A faithful person is shown not to be capricious and not blindfolded (Numbers 30:2, Deuteronomy 23:21-23, Revelation 2:10, Ephesians 6:24).
3. Like King David (a man worthy of God's heart), he is a person filled with the Holy Spirit.
The Bible (1 Samuel 16:13) ... David was greatly moved by the Spirit of the Lord. (Genesis 41:38-39) Pharaoh said to his servants, "How can we find a man who has been moved by the Spirit of God like this? And he said to Joseph, "All these things have been revealed to you by God; there is no one as understanding and wise as you. (Numbers 27:18) The LORD said to Moses, "Joshua the son of Nun is a man moved by a god.
1) Jesus was also filled with the Holy Spirit (Luke 4:1).
2) On the day of Pentecost, Jesus' disciples were also filled with the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:4).
3) Deacon Stephen was also filled with the Holy Spirit (Acts 7:55).
We pray that we will all be recognized and used by God together. - Amen -.
