Adam first met God. Then God made Eve out of Adam's rib so that Adam and Eve met. In other words, he made it impossible for him to live alone. The history of mankind began with an encounter. First meeting with God, meeting with human beings...
Is there anything in the world more important than meeting? No one can exist apart from meeting. When you are born, you meet your father and mother. meet family. Growing up, you meet your friends, you meet your teachers, you get married, you find your spouse, you have children, you meet your children, and you meet your co-workers at work.
There are many things that we need to meet well not only with people but also in our daily life.
(Ex.) Shopping: If you meet the wrong clothes, household items, etc., you will be extorted from your troubles.
So the more we live, the more we pray. "Ouch, I just bought it without thinking, so I bought the wrong one!"
That's right. Life is an encounter. To live is to meet. Among these, the encounter with God is the most important. And meeting requires trust. God believes in us and waits for us. How much do we trust God? God believes in us. Because God is love.
Folks, God is love. Meet God's love. God's love makes us strong. God's love also makes us bold. God's love makes us triumphant in the world. Meet God's love today. God's love gives us dreams and dreams.
When do we mature? When we encounter this love of God, we become more and more mature. True maturity comes the more we get to know God. When God shows love, God's providence is seen in love, and God begins to appear in the background of our lives.
Once you encounter God's love, you must continue to cultivate your encounter with God. There is a saying, "Gardens and homes are more beautiful the more they are cared for." An encounter with the Lord can make one's self grow indefinitely.
According to the text of the text, an amazing thing happened in the town of Nain. Nine means "fun". In this city of Nain, a woman lived with her son. I was very happy and lived a hard life. Perhaps the child's father died while in his mother's womb. But maybe my father passed away when I was very young. I grew up without the love of my father.
When this mother gave birth to a son, that son became the hope of life. The whole purpose of life was to raise this only son. Everyone in the neighborhood knew that he loved and worked hard to raise him. Every time I see this only son, the joy of life springs up, and when I hold this son in my arms, all the fatigue of the day goes away. Even when sadness and disappointment came, my son was a great force that made him endure the world.
But what is this? Such a son fell ill and suddenly passed away. It fell as the sky turned yellow. I was so shocked that I couldn't even say a word. I couldn't believe it.' People from the neighborhood began to flock to this mother, who had suffered this great sorrow. "Even the heavens are indifferent, I'm sure you're taking this woman's only hope, her only son!" One or two people started to weep, and then many people started crying, and Nainseong became a town of weeping. Now everyone weeps and follows the funeral procession.
But Jesus stops the funeral procession. "Don't cry." Don't cry when you are going through difficult times. I hope you will meet the procession of Jesus when you are going through difficult times. I hope you meet Jesus. Even if you cry, weep before the Lord. When Jesus says, "Do not weep," put the difficult things down before the Lord. Stop when the Lord tells you to stop. Put the things that discourage me before the Lord. Lay down sad things before the Lord. Stop when he tells you to stop, put your problems before the Lord, and look into the Lord's face.
Whatever my problems are, please put them down before the Lord who met them. Please lay down the problems that make me despair before the Lord. Please lay down your business problems before the Lord. Please lay down your children's problems before the Lord. Please lay down your work problems before the Lord. Please lay down the problem of illness before the Lord.
This funeral procession, where they met Jesus, sees a marvelous miracle. It is the Lord who can solve my problems. "I command you, get up." The young man rose and wept and many who followed were amazed at the power of the Lord. When we too can't get up because of despair, defeat, and discouragement, we can get up if we meet the Lord. Jesus is the only one who can make me and you rise from such things as death and dying of living hope.
In this way, when we meet Jesus, a new thing will happen in our life. Meeting with the Lord is a new beginning and a beginning.
And he said that our life is a series of encounters. You meet people, you meet the environment, you meet problems, you meet with misfortunes, you meet with diseases, you meet with successes and failures. I hope you will meet Jesus every time and meet the encounters in this world. I hope you will meet Jesus first and then go towards these encounters.
Even when Jesus was on this earth, he met God the Father first of all in every moment. Every moment I met my father and bought it. Even in front of the tomb of Lazarus, who died, Jesus first said to God the Father, “Father, thank you for always listening to my prayers.”
In this way, at every moment, Jesus did not rely on his own divinity, but completely depended on God the Father and God the Holy Spirit at every moment. Following the example of Jesus, we should live each day more and more fully dependent on the power of the Holy Spirit. You will have to live by clinging to Heavenly Father thoroughly.
After a day it doesn't come back. Today will not come back. There are no rebroadcasts. I bless you in the name of Jesus that you meet Jesus first before meeting things and meeting people every day, and then meet the help of the Holy Spirit first in the name of Jesus.
