Title: Why Are You Down? (Psalm 43:5)
Content: Humans are also human beings. Even the most determined person is often pessimistic because the environment is chaotic and complicated, and life is fragile. But when we consider that all circumstances are in the hands of God, there is no reason for those of our faith to be discouraged.
1. Do not be discouraged by the temporary success of the evil one.
The principle is that the righteous live happily in the world, but there are times when there is temporary success as the unrighteous and the wicked prosper.
When faced with such a reality, it is easy to become discouraged and doubt what God is doing among the believers who are still trying to live by faith. If God is alive and works, it will not be possible, and he becomes discouraged.
The prophet Jeremiah said, "What has the wicked prosper, and the rebellious are at ease?" In response to the premise question, "It is like a sheep prepared for the day when it is reduced" (Jeremiah 12:1-3).
2. Don't be discouraged even when circumstances and times are tough.
"A great wave arises and I cannot rest, but it goes faster because of this storm." Like the principle of speeding up the ship's direction rather than slowing it down, we should not be discouraged when our surroundings are complicated and difficult.
No, rather, you will not become discouraged because you feel the need to rely on God and firmly believe in Him and stand in your strong faith. Ask Abraham, Joseph, Ruth, and Job, the ancestors of faith. All of them did not lose heart at such a time, but persevered to the end and gained victory.
3. Don't get discouraged if you don't get an answer right away.
If the work we do is for Jesus, eventually it will all be fulfilled. must come to fruition.
However, when there is no quick response to this task, it is easy to become discouraged by the hasty thoughts of humans. We must know and believe in the principle that the Lord can only bless us if we focus on the Lord's work. The Lord always blesses the work for the Lord. However, there are times when you respond immediately in a timely manner, and there are times when you have to wait for a while.
Conclusion: Disappointment is a weighty failure. “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest, if we are not weary” (Galatians 6:9).
