Title: Why Don't You Do It?
Content 1. It is because we do not have a personal relationship with the Lord.
The degree to which a person hears and acts varies according to the relationship with the speaker. This is because, no matter what happens, the words of those you love and respect are listened to and acted upon, but the words of those who have nothing to do with them are heard with one ear and flowed out through the other. The Lord felt sorry for many people saying, “Lord, Lord, Lord,” but not hearing the word of the Lord and not doing it. These people say they believe in the Lord, but the words of the Lord are not reflected in their lives.
Then, why do people call on the name of the Lord and hear the word but do not act? The reason is that they have not met the Lord personally. Those who truly know and call on the Lord must be with the Lord from the heart of their hearts. You must acknowledge and treat the Lord as your master. A person who has not established a personal relationship with the Lord is a person who has not changed his or her master yet, and is the master himself. Therefore, even if the word of the Lord is right, it is detrimental to oneself and if it is burdensome, one will not obey. We must acknowledge the Lord we confess and call as our Savior and Master. This is because they will hear the word of the Lord and act. Listening to the Word and obeying it is not always difficult. Rather, it is more painful to disobey and disobey the Word.
2. It is because they do not consider the results of the Word.
