Bible Text: Revelation 21:1-7

Second, deep faith. He continues to pray as he enters the game, not praying for victory, but for concentration. Third, it is a constant effort. All shots require a high level of skill and stamina. It is the result of perfect preparation through hard work and thorough practice.

“He who overcomes will inherit this” (verse 17). What makes a conqueror?

The one who overcomes sees a new world.

“And I looked for new heavens and a new earth, and the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and the sea was no more” (verse 1). We look at a new world that no one else can see. When Moses raised his hand, Israel prevailed, and when Moses lowered his hand, Amalek prevailed (Exodus 17:11). Israel has no power to defeat Amalek. If Israel looked at Amalek, they could not win. This is what we have overcome by looking at God who gives us victory and praying.

The apostle John is looking at the new heavens and looking at the new earth. A person without a vision sees only the present. We only see today's phenomena. Negative people only pick problems. Such a person cannot win. Those who overcome look forward to the vision that God gives them to overcome.

“I lift up my eyes to the mountains; where does my help come from? My help is from the LORD, who made heaven and earth” (Psalm 121:1-2).

There are many sorrowful things in this world, many troublesome things in this world, and many sinful things in this world. If you are tormented by the world and lose your energy, you will lose.

Jacob fought with God and was victorious, and he earned the name Israel. He saw a ladder in a dream. “I saw in my dream a ladder standing on the ground, and its top reached to heaven... And I saw the Lord standing on it, saying, ...I will give to you and to your descendants the land on which you lie...I am with you and where do you go? I will keep you wherever I go…I will not leave you until I have done all that I have promised you” (Genesis 28:12-15).

“And I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband” (verse 2). The apostle John was exiled on the island of Patmos. He stays on a lonely, uninhabited island, watching the “New Jerusalem” come down from heaven from God.

Plato said, "There are always those who are inspired, though there are few, and fellowship with them is irreplaceable." Inspiration is an extraordinary power. Inspiration is the grace of God. Inspiration is a revelation from heaven. Who gets inspired? Jacob, who said, “I cannot go unless you bless me,” was given double inspiration to Elisha, who struggled to receive double inspiration.

Inspiration is called inspiration in English, and sweat is called perspiration. To be inspired, you must start sweating. Inspiration is the product of sweat and the crystallization of hard work. Inspiration does not soar to the indolent. A fountain of inspiration springs from the sweaty desert.

We must look upwards. What is above must dominate. The land is just a problem. Life doesn't end when you solve problems. Those who live in the spiritual world, the world where God rules, have no choice but to win.

The one who overcomes hears the voice of God.

“I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and God dwells with them, and they shall be God’s people, and God Himself is with them” (verse 3). The loud voice you hear is the voice of God. In order to become a overcomer, the voice you need to hear is the voice of God coming from the pulpit. I must become God's people and I must listen to the voice that makes God my God. I need to hear the voice that God is with me.

It is time for Gideon to fight the Midianites with his three hundred warriors. Thousands of Midianites were encamped in the valley, and God said, “I will defeat Midian,” and he took his men and went to the enemy camp. You did.

Gideon took his servant Burah and went down to the valley where the Midianites were encamped. Two soldiers are heard talking about their dreams. “I had a dream, and a loaf of barley loaves rolled into the camp of Midian, and struck a tent, and fell on its face, and immediately it fell.” He has defeated this Midianite and all his army” (Judges 7:10-14).

When Gideon heard the story of the dream, he returned to the camp of Israel and said, “The Lord has defeated the Midianites.” He divided the army into three groups of three hundred men and fought and won (Judges 7:15-16). You have to listen to things that cheer you up.

“Blessed are those whose strength is in you, and whose hearts are the highways of Zion; they make their way to the Valley of Tears, and they become places of springs, and the early rain favors them” (Psalm 84:5-6).

We must worship and rejoice and receive the power of the Word. “When we come before you, our hearts rejoice, and the words of the word give us strength, so that hope rises. Let us overcome hardships and sorrows, and let us continue to live in eternity. Please accept our worship, God of our pride and joy.”

Elijah was the one who defeated the 850 prophets of Baal and Asherah. Fire came down from heaven and burned the offerings on display. However, after hearing the words from Jezebel, Ahab's wife, "I will surely kill him at this time tomorrow" (1 Kings 19:2), he becomes discouraged and asks for death. However, after hearing the words of comfort from the messenger sent by God, “Elijah, why are you here,” I gained new courage. “Anoint Elisha to be a prophet in your place.” The one who overcomes hears the voice of God who overcomes. If you hear that voice, you will come back to life, gain strength, and become a conqueror. Because the Word of God is alive and has momentum. Because it is the word of the Spirit. I hope you will listen to the voice of the Lord and become the overcomers.

The one who overcomes drinks from the spring of the water of life.

“…I will give to the one who thirsts free from the spring of the water of life” (verse 6). Your body is shaped differently depending on what you eat and drink. The best water for a person is bottled water. Living water is living water and water that saves. Animals and plants alike live by drinking water.

The reason that the Garden of Eden was turned into a paradise was because of the river that flows from the garden. The river watered the garden, and the trees were good to look at, and fruits good to eat.

The Bible is a book of living water. Living water flows from the first book of Genesis to the last book, Revelation. “And he showed me a river of living water, clear as crystal, flowing out of the throne of God and of the Lamb and flowing in the middle of the road. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve fruits, bearing its fruit every month, and its leaves revive the nations. was there to do this” (Rev 221-2)

In a land without water, trees cannot live and produce no fruit. Water gives you strength. Water has life. The thirsty cannot win. Water is the energy to win. Hydroelectric power plants cannot generate electricity without water.

When Samson killed a thousand Philistines with the jawbone of a donkey, the most difficult thing to bear was thirst. “Samson was very thirsty, and cried out to the Lord, saying, By the hand of your servant you have bestowed this great salvation; but now I am thirsty, and I will fall into the hands of the uncircumcised. God touched a hollow place, and water came out of it. Samson drank it, and his spirit was restored and he was revived. And the name of the spring was Enhakkore” (Judges 15:18-19). “Enhakkore” means “fountain of those who cry”. God gives springs of living water to those who cry. “As the deer longs for streams of water, so my soul thirsts for you, O God” (Psalm 42:1).

“If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. He who believes in me, as the scripture says, out of his belly will flow rivers of living water.” This was referring to the scriptures that those who believe in him should receive” (John 7:37-39). To drink living water means to receive the Holy Spirit in the end. He said that living water springs out of the boat. A Hebrew expression for the depths of an ovulatory person. “Rivers of living water” is a figurative expression of being filled with the Holy Spirit as a gift from God. When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will receive power and become a conqueror. The Holy Spirit is the passion of God. What is Passion? It is a mysterious force that neither money nor knowledge nor skill can overtake. “It is not by might, nor by might, but by the Spirit of the Lord” (Zechariah 4:6).

Jesus said I have overcome the world. In order to overcome, we must have the power of God. We must always be awake and pray. David defeated Goliath with a single stone. You need to develop your strength and hone your skills to win.

Tiger Woods sees his game on video even after winning consecutive victories. ...I called my coach, beating myself that I had no hope if I kept going like this. “I saw the video of my match and it was a mess. I have to change the way I swing.” It took him two years to change his swing, but during that time, he didn't win. After that, his hard work paid off. Woods later said, "If we had kept it the way it was then we wouldn't have survived to this day."

David said, “I looked to you in the sanctuary, to see your power and your glory” (Psalm 632). Please see a new world. The one who sees the new world wins. We must listen to God's voice. Faith comes from hearing. Faith the size of a mustard seed moves mountains. You must drink bottled water. When you are filled with the Holy Spirit, you will receive power and become a conqueror. “He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God, and he will be my son” (verse 7).
