Title: Wisdom is needed (Proverbs 24:1-22)
Content 1. In order to live like a human being, one must learn about the principles of life. So we invest hard in learning.
2. However, there are many people who have different learning goals. It is not education to live like a human being, but education to succeed and live better than others.
3. As a result, various side effects are occurring. This may be the case of corruption in entrance exams or the ethical issues of public officials, which have made noise in the country in recent years.
4. In order to live like a human being, we need wisdom in life, not just knowledge. We can learn this wisdom from the Bible.
I. Enlightenment is wisdom (1-6).
A. Realizing is a treasure.
1. It has been the situation of this country until now that people who were fast and unjust people shouted and lived well.1) So, I had to go to college anyway, and I wanted a prestigious university even after cheating.
2) If there was power, the law could be changed freely, and the law was recognized as an exception for such people.
3) In the end, only sincere and powerless people have been considered fools.
2. Many people tried to line up for power, and the value of making money somehow prevailed.
3. So to the powerless, they had no choice but to look envious of them. It was obviously abnormal, but we've been living it with resignation. Even believers have come to a point where they do not feel any remorse.
4. But the Bible says 1) Do not envy the unrighteous, nor do you intend to associate with them.
2) Moreover, their view of life commands them not to learn.
5. If we have the wisdom to realize 1) We can fill every room with all kinds of valuable treasures.
2) superior to the best tacticians (v. 5)
3) Even the strongest person can win.
B. Let's do our best to understand.
1. Enlightenment is a gift that one who prays gets. It cannot be bought with money.
2. A world in which people who have lived in an unholy way can suffer the most is beginning before us. These are very dreamlike events that are like rains of rain on the dry, dry and cracked land.
3. The present world is showing us that the Word of God is alive at any time.
4. We must look at the world that will be opened in front of us with faith and realize that the value of the changing world is the word of God.
II. To know God is wisdom (7-14).
A. No one can deceive God.
1. To harm others or to commit uncleanness in moderation is to completely deny the existence of God.
It's people's behavior
2. If we believe that God is a living being, we cannot dare to do iniquity.
3. Acts of special circumstances (verse 8) and ignoring the sufferings of unhappy people (12) are exclusive to those who deny God.
4. God 1) looks at our thoughts (8-9).
2) He examines our inner heart and rewards us for our actions (12).
5. However, when we discover God 1) we will realize wisdom like honey.
2) I have hope for tomorrow.
B. The saints must be wise.
1. Those who believe in Jesus must be wise. Wisdom is the second most precious thing after life.
2. If we want the fruit of the Spirit, we need to pay more attention to the gift of wisdom. The more mature you are, the wiser you are.
3. Being born of God and wisdom have one thing in common. To believe is to gain wisdom, and to know God is to be wise.
4. However, if you have not yet completely cast off your old foolish and evil thoughts, you need to look back on yourself. It is proof that he has not yet become a wise man.
5. Because God gives wisdom to the regenerated saints, he makes them realize their evil thoughts and what they need to throw away.
III. Doing justice is wisdom (15-22).
A. The righteous do not perish.
1. In verse 15, the modern Bible says, “Do not be like the wicked people who oppress, back, and exploit people who live uprightly, and who are only devising to take away the house they live in by all means.” It is a point to point out
2. In verse 16, it is said that the righteous will fall seven times and rise again, but the wicked will fall because of calamity.
3. In verse 17, it is said, “You should not rejoice too much just because your enemy, whom you hate to see, has fallen into great misfortune.”
4. After all, these verses clearly and concisely answer the conflicts that believers face today. In fact, it is not even the subject of conflict. Principles never change.
5. Many people today believe in God, yet they are accustomed to lawlessness. I don't even know if it's a denial.
B. The saints are to do justice.
1. Many preachers today are calling for “the Word-centered”. How many people really know what the true meaning of the Word is?
2. Among law enforcement officers, there are only a few people who properly enforce the law. Likewise, those who cry out for the heart of the Word are more likely to break the Word.
3. No relief needed. If you live with the truly living God as your Savior and Father, you cannot practice iniquity or rejoice in injustice.
