Ant's Wisdom
Proverbs 6:6
Ding Dong! The doorbell rang. "Who?" “Flower delivery.” Hearing this, my wife loved it so much, she opened the door and received a basket of flowers. But the flower delivery young man hesitated and said, “The door in front of that lady is locked. I would appreciate it if you could tell me.” "I see" in a muffled voice. Then he continued, “Okay then, what kind of flower did you get married to for 8 years, but I have never received a flower. I wish the lady next door would receive flowers even though she was older. You're young and you can't buy flowers... You learn something from the man next door..." The man in the house died and came back to life because of the young flower delivery man.
The Bible says, “Go to the ant and see what it does, and be wise.” There is a saying that ants build towers even when they are small. It means that you get things done with perseverance and hard work. What wisdom should the ants learn?
Execution power
The wisdom to learn from ants is the ability to execute. No matter how good an idea or a great project is, if you don't put it into practice, nothing will happen. Everything in the world is a product of power. It will be achieved through the power of practice.
In the ant world, behavior comes first. What are my shortcomings? It's a lack of execution. The ability to execute is important to study, to lead a religious life, and to lead a business. An ant's brain is not as good as a human's. But in practice, humans do not follow ants. Ants' executive powers act immediately without delay. Active and optimistic. Optimism is always a forward-looking pass. When optimism penetrates an organization, it is bound to succeed.
Ant societies have no excuses. Without making excuses, we carry out our missions to achieve our goals. There is a saying in our proverb that a bead must stand and be threaded to become a treasure. Don't put your actions into words, put your words into action. Theory cannot be separated from practice. Success is reached when the theory is put into practice.
In 1973, a young Englishman named Collett was admitted to Harvard University in the United States. When he entered college, he became acquainted with a young American, and the two became good friends. However, in my sophomore year in college, an American friend suggested that I drop out of school and develop 32-bit financial software.
Corrett also thought software had a bright future, but he couldn't accept the offer to drop out of school. Eventually, Collette turned down a friend's offer, and only that friend dropped out of school. Ten years later, Golett was pursuing a PhD in BIT systems at Harvard University. On the other hand, the friend who dropped out of school in sophomore year joined the ranks of American billionaires for the first time in 10 years. In 1992, when Collette received her doctorate, the friend became America's second richest man. In 1995, Collett's academic achievements earned him a doctorate, became a professor, and his American friend became the richest man in the world. He is Bill Gates. It is the story of a man who got a doctorate by sticking to the theory and the world's richest man by practicing it. Ants have a practical ability that no one can match.
The Bible says: “In this way, faith without works is dead. Some say, ‘You have faith, and I have works, so show me your faith without works, and I will show you by my works. Do you believe that there is one God? Ah, foolish man, do you want to know that faith without works is futile?” (James 2:17-20) The wisdom that ants need to learn is the ability to practice. May you be blessed by putting the Word into practice.
Communication skills
Communication is getting to know each other without any blockages. Ants are very good at communicating information among themselves. Communication is about reaching a common perception. It is a constant exchange of understanding and acceptance. A group with good communication develops. When members fail to share information, confusion arises.
Communication means communication in English. It means forwarding, communicating, contacting, coming and going. Real communication between people is necessary. Jiyeon Baek wrote a book called Nice Force. ‘Nice’ means good, cool, delicate, or attractive, and ‘force’ means strength. The power to communicate with the world is described as “Nice Force”. If ‘nice’ is softness, ‘force’ is strength.
In the process of Earth's transformation, giant dinosaurs became extinct. However, small and weak ants are still alive today. The ants also experienced crustal changes, volcanic eruptions and floods. However, it is said that the number of ants on Earth is greater than that of humans. The fact that ants were able to survive and reproduce along with the history of the earth was possible by exchanging information and cooperating with each other through communication.
Nobuoka Takai, a Japanese person, in a book called “The Three Steps,” says that it takes only three minutes to get others to recognize you. In as little as three minutes, you can introduce your product and create an impulse to buy. Knowing the value of 3 minutes, they tell you to bet with 3 minutes. The skill of persuading others by conveying one's intention as simply and effectively as possible is the three-component. This requires quickness, concentration, and accurate judgment.
How do ants communicate with each other? Ants emit substances that smell different in different parts of their body. They communicate by smells that alert them, alerts that prey is present, and smells that make them run away.
The Holy Spirit is the spirit of communication and the wiser of unity. In the book of Acts, after Jesus ascended to heaven, the Holy Spirit descended on the place where the saints prayed together. All the saints were filled with the Holy Spirit. And as the Holy Spirit spoke, they began to speak in a foreign language other than their own. At that time, devout Jews from all over the world were living in Jerusalem. They were all astonished to hear the believers speaking in their own language. These people are Galileans, so what the heck is it that they can understand foreign languages? (Acts 2:1-12). The Holy Spirit made it possible to communicate with people who cannot speak because they speak different languages.
Different words make communication difficult. When U.S. troops were first stationed in Korea, there was a custom of tying up the groom and eating them. An American saw it and asked if it was a communist party. I couldn't understand or speak English, so I just said "yes". He shot and killed the groom.
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8). will be The members of the church must become an “evangelism group” like an ant group.
Advertisements that move the hearts of consumers are less than 30 seconds. The Holy Spirit is the power of communication. He instantly realizes and works. It should work and it shouldn't. Please communicate with God above and with people below.
Cooperative power
Cooperation and unity are easy to talk about but not easy to put into practice. If you can cooperate and unite like ants, you will surely succeed. Ants show a high degree of sociability and cohesion. According to ant researchers, ants cooperate with each other. First, all ants have a common perception. Thousands of ants are moving, but they are moving towards one goal. Second, we respect the capabilities and roles between organizations. Recognize the diversity of other organizations and collaborate with each other.
Conflicts between churches and corporations are caused by a lack of common perception. There can be no conflict when all members have a “common perception”. A goal can be reached when all the members work together and work together. The process of reaching consensus requires meeting and talking as much as possible.
The goal of the ant kingdom is not the dogmatic goal of the queen ant. The queen ant and all the ants have one goal and move in one direction to unfold the strategy. In their world, there is no right and left, no right and left. The queen ant does not encourage and scold like a supervisor when she goes to the work site of the worker ants. The queen ant lays eggs or takes a nap in the bedroom. That's what the queen ant does. Let the worker ants do their own thing. Even without a sovereign, they do it themselves. This is the same as the delegation principle of modern business administration. The queen ant thoroughly respects each authority and follows the principle of delegation. Some ants are informants looking for food, some ants are carriers, and some ants are guards who monitor the enemy's movements.
The term “ant history” refers to the cooperative spirit of ants. There are no bystanders in the ant society. 100% participation. There was a time when I thought there were even ants playing. I didn't research it. What mission are you doing? There is tremendous synergy when everyone works together. If the ants don't cooperate, nothing can happen. Whether it's a big thing or a small thing, we can cooperate, and we can't cooperate. Jesus said, “If two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven” (Matthew 18:19).
The world is not alone. I live with my family and neighbors. Torn nets cannot catch fish. If you look at shogi, you can skip the horse, sang, or tea and go all the way to the end, but the pawn can only go one space. However, you cannot beat shogi with just horses and tea. All soldiers must work together to win the race.
There is a Jewish proverb that says, “Two dogs working together can kill a lion.” The wisdom of ants is cooperation. Those who cannot cooperate must learn the wisdom of ants.
The wisdom of ants is a management theory that companies and churches should learn. Ants work hard with a definite execution power. Everyone does their job to the best of their ability.
Ants communicate very well. There is absolutely no distortion or blockage when exchanging information. They focus on a common goal. There is no objection until we reach the goal once set.
The wisdom to learn from ants is execution, communication, and cooperation. We believe that if our church has the wisdom of these three ants, it can accomplish anything.
