Text: 2 Timothy 3:14-17 (2 Timothy)
4. But abide in what you have learned and have been convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned
15. And from your youth you have known the Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
16. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.
17. This is to make the man of God complete, complete for every good work.
Title: Wisdom of Flower Week
1. Today is Children's Day.
It is no exaggeration to say that the future of a country depends on the future of its children. So, from a young age, education and training are provided through various educational methods. However, in the past, there was a time when children were treated so much that they could not even be counted in the population of the nation of Israel or in our country, and were only considered property of their parents. Then, in the 19th and 20th centuries, children gradually became more important. That eventually led to the establishment of a day for children who value children. Seeing the tendency of children to be trivialized and neglected in the history of the Bible, Jesus rebuked them and created a consciousness to reach a turning point as an important being. (Mark 9:37) Without arguing that 'the kingdom of heaven belongs to such children', it is saying that innocent children-like believers will eventually inherit the kingdom of heaven.
When I send my child out of the world in an era where tomorrow is unpredictable, I can't keep up. I'm so scared. But we must trust the Holy Spirit. At that time, I must first be trusted before God, teach the way to the children, and the parents themselves must fully set the example of faith for their children.
2. The Bible teaches us to become a new person
The Bible is the word of God, that is, because it was written under the inspiration of God, it is expressed as such. And the Bible says, “If anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book, and if he takes away from them, he will be in the holy city” (Revelation 22:18). ', so that I cannot interpret it as I please. At the time of writing the Bible, the Holy Spirit always strongly moved the writer to dictate these words, so that even human beings could not be affected by sin, and even intervened in every term. Although it contains the knowledge, personal characteristics, and characteristics of the times, this Bible God and the Old Testament were written over 1,600 years, but He personally intervened so that there is no error at all. In theological terms, this is called "verbal inspiration". The Bible is God-breathed and is “good for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.” Therefore, the Bible should be read carefully in terms of terms, style, and expressions, even words.
We need to think about how we should raise our children in this age. Can I eat well, dress well, and spend a lot of time at the academy? You have to be a person. I hate it every Sunday, but I like it, but it is to walk with the Lord through the harsh world while receiving and drinking the water of life from the precious blood of the cross. Believe it or not, you must be in the church while listening to heaven and hell to become a person, be saved, and be protected in the world. My efforts and my will are limited. We need to raise them with God-centered, church-centered, and Bible-centered, and parents must first set an example. Let's build our home and our children on the rock. Today is Flower Week. Let's be a day to think about how blessed we are to do with our children.
