Wisdom to know the depth of suffering (Luke 9:22)
[Luke 9:22] He said, "The Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day."
What is hardship?
苦難 hardship 苦 means to write, to be bitter, to suffer, to try.
受難 (Passion): The suffering of Jesus Christ is called the Passion. Because it is suffering to accomplish the will of God.

There is a high level of robbery. That is, there are hard ones and less difficult ones. Even with the same hardship, it may be difficult or difficult depending on the opponent. Only you and God can know and feel it.
For example, some people risk their lives for hundreds of thousands of dollars. However, there are people who have hundreds of millions of dollars and don't even blink an eye. Looking at the case of Gimje this time, many people have a sense of emptiness.
On the 9th, the Gimje Police Station arrested and investigated Mr. A (53. Jeonju) on suspicion of concealing the proceeds of crime, and Mr. A buried about 1.3 billion won in his field in Geumgu-myeon, Gimje city, and 1 billion won kept by Mr. A's son, the house. He said that he confiscated a total of 2.415 billion won, including 100 million won in the safe.
The money confiscated by the police was most of the money that Mr. A's brother-in-law earned while operating an illegal internet gambling house from 2008 to the end of 2009. Before being arrested at the end of 2009, the brother-in-law asked Mr. A to keep the 2.7 billion won he earned from running an illegal internet gambling house.
Mr. A faithfully responded to his brother-in-law's request for a while, buying a vegetable garden in Gimje around June of last year, dividing the money into 7 plastic kimchi containers and burying them in the ground. However, as his brother-in-law's release from release was imminent next month, a change occurred in Mr. A's heart.
Mr. A, who became greedy for money, decided to make his own play. On the 2nd, Mr. A took out 2.7 billion won buried in the field, and left 1 billion won of this to his son, and 400 million won was taken by himself. The money buried in the ground again was 1.3 billion won. The allegations of the missing money were about to be overlaid on an excavator driver who had been digging up trees in the field around February. On the 8th, Mr. A questioned the excavator driver that the money he had buried in the field had disappeared, and the unjust driver reported the crime to the police to reveal his innocence. 11.08 billion won out of 17 billion won
[1 Peter 2:19] It is a beautiful thing, if you endure sorrow by thinking of God even when you suffer vaguely
[1 Peter 2:20] What praise is there if you are beaten for sin and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and endure it, this is beautiful in the sight of God.
[1 Peter 3:17] Better to suffer for doing good than to suffer for doing evil, if it is God's will.
[1 Peter 4:15] Let none of you suffer as a murderer, or theft, or an evildoer, or a meddler in the affairs of others.
The wisdom to realize the depth of true suffering is in faith in Jesus Christ.
1. The righteous receive.
[Psalm 34:19] The afflictions of the righteous are many, but the LORD delivers them out of them all.
[1 Peter 3:14] Blessed are those who suffer for the sake of righteousness.
John 15:19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but the world hates you, because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world.
2. Those who need to meet God will suffer.
[Jon 2:2] He said, "I called to the LORD because of my affliction, and you answered me, and I cried out from the belly of Sheol, and you heard my voice."
3. There is suffering to understand the word of the Lord.
[Psalm 119:67] Before I was afflicted, I went astray, but now I keep Your word.
[Psalm 119:71] It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I may learn Your statutes.
4. There are hardships for training
[Isa 48:10] Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have chosen you in the furnace of affliction.
One of the entomologists, Dr. Charles Korman, spent a year studying the larvae emerging from the pupa and becoming butterflies. I was watching the caterpillar coming out of the pupa. After struggling for hours, I was sad to see this, so the next time the caterpillar was about to emerge from the pupa, I opened the hole slightly. But strangely, the caterpillar that came out with difficulty became a butterfly when it flapped its wings and flew away, but the caterpillar he drilled a hole in couldn't fly. In order to live in the world, we cannot see the door to success or happiness, but we have to live by silently fighting hardships even when we are struggling and our hearts are pounding. It is true that hardship is painful, disease is painful, and misery and failure make our lives stifled, but these are not superfluous. Because of these, a person matures, becomes strong, and his character rises. So it is true that David said that suffering is good for us.
5. There is suffering for glory.
[Romans 8:18] I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed in us.
Moses refused to be called the prince of the princess, but instead shared suffering with his people.
[Hebrews 11:25] Rather, they preferred to suffer with God's people than to enjoy the pleasures of iniquity for a short time.
[Rev 2:10] Do not be afraid of the afflictions that you are about to suffer, and behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison to be tested, and you will have tribulation for ten days. Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life. I will give you
6. There is suffering to serve the church.
[Colossians 1:24] Now I rejoice in the afflictions I suffer for you, and I fill the rest of the sufferings of Christ in my flesh for the sake of his body, the church.

The suffering of the Lord on the cross has profound meaning for all who are being saved.
[Heb 2:18] Since he suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.
[Hebrews 5:8] Even though he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered.
[John 13:15] I set an example that you should do as I have done to you.
1 Corinthians 1:18. The message of the cross seems foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
Isaiah 53:3 He was despised and rejected by men; he was afflicted, and acquainted with suffering, as one who hides his face from men, and is despised, and we do not esteem him. He bore our sorrows and bore our sorrows, but we thought, He is chastised, struck by God, and suffers. 5 He was pierced for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities. We have peace, and by his wounds we are healed. 6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way, and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
Think of your sufferings with the cross of the Lord. If it is suffering to keep our faith, it is not in vain. It is the suffering of the righteous and the suffering of blessings.
Praise: Shall we bear the cross of my Lord? Why am I the only one suffering?
