Title: Wisdom to live the ordinary

“We dare not match ourselves with those who praise us, and we cannot compare them. But they are not wise when they measure themselves by themselves, and compare themselves with themselves. But we do not boast beyond our measure, but God has given us a measure We follow the limits of the measure that was distributed, even to you. We did not pass by ourselves as those who fell short of you, but have reached you through the gospel of Christ. may I be greater among you according to the limits of yours” (2 Corinthians 10:12-15).

1. Everyone wants to be famous.

It is true that he wants to make a name for himself, and he wants his children to be more special than everyone else. So, ① we want to be ahead of others, ② we want to do what others can’t do, and ③ we want to have what others can’t have. So, I hope that it will become a unique existence that others cannot dare to follow. If that happens, I know that it is success, and I think that only when I succeed in that way can I enjoy happiness.

Today, I hope that many people will do something different in their ordinary lives, in ordinary places. And out of greed to become famous, they steal other people's things, and even deceive fakes into the real thing. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Anyway, I think that in order to be happier than others, you have to be special to be happy. This is no exception for us believers.

What deserves to be pointed out in today's Christian life of faith is the desire to be special like this. In the belief that success is happiness, we force you to study, study, and study without a week in order to achieve it. Also, when you think that you have succeeded in doing so, everyone thinks that it was obtained through their own hard work, leading to pride.

If we cannot overcome this in people of faith, our religious life will also be easily led by some kind of greed. The Bible says that people who are led by greed like this are called “people of the flesh”. Because they are natural people, I do not know how many people are fishy because everything they do is not yet fully developed in faith.

It is easy to brag about yourself and become arrogant by claiming that you can do something. Therefore, there are many cases in which we do not glorify God while doing our work, and we do not receive praise from people.

2. Believers must acquire the wisdom to live an ordinary life.

Verse 12 says, “We do not dare compare ourselves with those who praise us.” According to the joint translation, "We have no intention of interfering with or comparing ourselves to those who promote ourselves. They measure themselves by their own standards and compare themselves to their own standards, how foolish it is." Said.

What is meant by <one who promotes himself> or <one who praises himself> here? It refers to those who say that they are the best and think that they are unique. It seems that such people existed even in the days of the Apostle Paul. It was persecution from his fellow Jews, rather than from Gentiles, that had always plagued him. He tried to exclude being called an apostle by spreading prejudice and bad propaganda against Paul, and he always had to be ostracized by the clergyman of the early church. So, it may be that he was conscious of the famous people in the religious world at the time who boasted about themselves.

3. Believers should live by discovering God's grace in the ordinary.

God wants each of us to live by fulfilling our basic duties and responsibilities as human beings. Rather than wanting to live first among people, he wants to love his neighbor, fear God with his neighbor, and live in his own love. God is a God who wants to show love to everyone.

That was the spirit of the law, and it was also the coming of Jesus Christ to this earth as the fulfillment of that law. When the Lord came to this earth, He came through the lowest place, the most ordinary family. In choosing his disciples, he also chose the most ordinary people. A truly mature believer can become a proper person when he experiences and realizes God's love in the midst of experiencing the happiness of ordinary people and the suffering of ordinary people.

In order for our faith not to become like cars that were crushed by head-butting accidents, but to become new models that are thrilled every day, it is time to discover God's grace in the ordinary and live in a state of gratitude in everything. .

I heard someone say this. "God's grace, grace, but there is no greater grace than eating well and digesting well." Everyone! Think for a moment about the patients in the hospital. What would you do if you could achieve what others couldn't, and have what others didn't have? If you can't digest one sick food, you won't be so unhappy. There are parents who want to stay healthy even if they can't study. Being healthy is probably the greatest happiness.

In this way, when she was just over 30, her arm became stiff and the pain started to come to her, who was leading the way as a truly unique existence at the top of the world. The diagnosis was 'muscle rupture'. From a young age, he said that he had turned off all the lights in the room and pounded the keys in order to beat others faster and more perfectly than others by marching for eight hours a day. He said that he cried endlessly as he hugged his hardened arms like a piece of wood and held him in his mother's arms. From then on, resentment began to arise. Why did my mother make me so unhappy by making me more famous than others? I said that I resented my mother for ruining my life and saying that she was the one who took away my youth. Because of her mother's obsession with the extreme first-class, and her goal of becoming the best pianist in the world, she unwittingly spent all of her time on the piano from morning to evening without thinking about anything else. I felt skeptical about the years.

Everyone! What a precious confession! We must imitate her faith, who realized God's grace in the ordinary. We need to reflect deeply on whether we are living like this, hating, envying, and jealous of others in order to achieve it by asking us to be number one for so much time. Are there people who are still upset because they are not number one, and are not able to come before God because they are proud of being number one.... We need to reflect deeply.

Wisdom to live the ordinary! Today, God wants us to feel the joy of life and live with people who realize His love. I hope that we all become believers who understand so that our lives can be sublimated into a more gracious and valuable life.
