Title: With a Lifesaver
Contents
title ; with a life saver
main text ; Psalm 116:12
A group of thugs kidnapped a young boy, extorted money from his parents, and finally tried to kill the boy.
Then the other thugs notice this and try to kill this treacherous thug by stabbing him with a knife. Stabbed in the side by his fellow gangsters, the thug manages to escape and hide in a rural hospital. And she is treated by a young female doctor there and she survives.
And by hiding in the woman doctor's house, she saves her life. This female doctor is the lifesaver of this thug. This thug cooks, cooks side dishes, does laundry, and cleans the house for the female doctor who saved his life by grabbing his sick body.
However, other thugs who have noticed this are trying to kidnap the female doctor and sell her to a brothel. And he tries to steal a large sum of money from the doctor's father and kill him. At this time, the gangster, who was treated by the female doctor and saved her life, tries to run into the thug's den to rescue the female doctor.
Of course, the people around them insist that it is too dangerous to jump into the thug's lair. Nevertheless, this gangster is the benefactor who the female doctor saved his life, so he infiltrates into the thug's den to rescue the female doctor. However, instead of rescuing the female doctor, he is also caught by thugs, and the two are buried alive together.
However, the two are miraculously rescued by the police who were contacted and dispatched at that time. And the woman doctor tells her father that he has a good man to marry. When I asked who my father was, the woman said, "He's my lifesaver." It refers to the thug who tried to rescue him.
The thug suddenly said, "No. Rather, this doctor is my lifesaver." The story of last week's KBS 2 TV Marriage Story is that the two eventually got married and are living happily today.
Watching this marriage story, I and you both realize that we are the protagonists of this story. In other words, Jesus healed and saved me and you, who sinned and did many evil things like a thug, who will be judged forever and go to hell. In other words, Jesus is a lifesaver for me and you. If Jesus hadn't saved me and you, the thought is terrifying.
At the most, it is not an illusion or a lie, but the reality and the truth that human beings live a short period of 70-80 years and are judged in an eternally unquenchable fire. Jesus rescued us from these judgments and gave us eternal life. It is a life saver for everyone.
And just as a gangster grabs his sick body and does various household chores for the female doctor who saved his life like this, and voluntarily enters the den of thugs to rescue the female doctor at risk, we too, the life saver, Jesus We are fulfilling the mission entrusted to us by Jesus.
Everyone, come to church and clean, wash the dishes, make side dishes, mow the lawn, trim the fence, clear a lot of snow when winter comes, and go to worship no matter how busy you are, and no matter how difficult it is, come to church and be faithful. what's the reason ?
Of course, you could say it was because Jesus gave me and you a lot of money. And some might say that it was because Jesus healed me when I was sick.
But there is something even more important than that. That is, Jesus gave his life on the cross to save me. In this way, since Jesus is the saver of my life, are we not unchangingly loyal to Jesus in this foreign land?
The most important grace that a Christian must receive is to realize that Jesus is the saver of my life. If we properly realize this one fact, we can always thank Jesus, we can always be faithful for Jesus, and we can be patient and patient for Jesus.
We can find rewards for lifesavers, either through legends or true stories. Moreover, it is very moving to see even an animal that is not a human being, a mere creature, repaying the benefactor of his life.
About 1,000 years ago, during the Silla period, a scholar was climbing the mountain. But while I was resting on the ridge of the pass, I suddenly heard the scream of a pheasant. I looked around and saw a serpent tying the pheasant together to eat it.
The scholar rescued the pheasant by raising his bow and hitting the serpent in the head. The pheasant flew away, thanking him. And the scholar who saved the pheasant was also walking along the road, and as the sun went down, he was looking for a private house where he could stay.
When I saw a light in the distance, I went to find a house in the woods, and there was a very pretty young woman alone. The scholar was sleeping in a room in a rented room at the request, but when he woke up feeling cramped and strange, he found a snake wrapped around his body and trying to eat it.
The scholar said, "Why are you doing this?" I asked the serpent, and the serpent answered like this. "I am the wife of a serpent you killed in the daytime, and I have seduced you to avenge my husband." So the scholar asks me to live, and the snake replies like this.
"There is an empty temple in the middle of this mountain, and if you have the talent to make this bell ring three times before dawn, I will spare you." I did. At this moment, out of nowhere, the bell rang exactly three times. Then the serpent said, "Egg, angry!" disappeared, and the scholar saved his life.
And as the day dawned, the scholar went to the bell tower of the old temple site and found a pheasant with a broken head and bleeding and dead. The pheasant who saved his life reciprocated. From this time on, the legend that Jeokaksan (壅ㅵ껙掠? in Wonju was renamed Chiaksan (?됧껙掠? has been passed down.
There is a famous family in Eire. But the house has a very bizarre picture of a monkey, and underneath it is written, "I will never forget what he did for me." Here are the details of what that means.
Centuries ago, the head of the family had to leave the house. But there was a young, only son in the house. So, to protect his son, he gave a very strict instruction to the servants, "Protect your son well," and he left.
However, when a fire broke out in the castle, the servants all fled, forgetting the little child, so that they could live alone. Now, the little child was forced to burn to death. But there was a monkey in the house, and the monkey jumped into the fire, held the child in his arms, and climbed down the wall from the top of the city wall, saving the child's life.
After the deadline, the owner of the house found out about this, and from then on he drew a picture of a monkey and wrote "I will never forget what he did for me."
Everyone, the benefactor who saved the life of you or your family is very precious, whether it be an animal or a human being. If it had not been for that lifesaver, his existence would have ceased to exist... Isn't it really a precious fact that his existence exists because of that lifesaver?
And the benefactor who saved his life is so precious that he writes "I will never forget what he has done for me." That would be the face of a good person.
In other words, a life that repays grace, a life for Jesus, the Savior of life, is the true form of a Christian.
In today's text, the psalmist confesses: ?쏦ow will I repay the favor the Lord has given me???The grace of God that He even killed His only begotten Son to save me and you, and Jesus, who walked the path of death on the cross to save me and you, is living with the heart of what we will repay the benefactor of that life. Isn't that the right attitude for a Christian life?
There is a story like this. Someone accidentally fell into the river. However, the current was so fast that it was impossible to rescue him. Thousands of people who witnessed the scene said, "Oh, he's dead!" And I was rolling my feet on the beach.
Then the Buddha passed by and said, "It seems that you have committed many sins in your past life!" and just pass by. And after a while, a man named Confucius appeared and said, "No, this man, why did he act so foolishly without paying attention?" And it just passes by.
But a man jumped into the mighty river and rescued the man. And he himself died in that strong river. Of course, this young man represents our Lord Jesus Christ.
Ladies and gentlemen, Jesus is the lifesaver who saved us by forsaking Himself. Isn't it the right way for a person who has been saved in this way to live faithfully and give thanks for the benefactor of that life?
However, as the Korean proverb says, ?쏽ou rescue a person from drowning, and you give them a bundle,??if there is someone who is willing to repay the favor with evil, we will refer to that person as inferior to an animal.
Ladies and gentlemen, why are so many Christians being tortured and suffering for Jesus? It is because Jesus is the saver of my life. "Jesus gave me eternal life, so it's not natural for me to give my 70-80 life for him? Isn't that the point of martyrdom with a heart that does?
And, isn't it really rewarding and enjoyable to be loyal to the benefactor of life, to serve, to give an offering, and to live the rest of your life? And in the future, living happily with Jesus, the life-saver, isn't that what all of us Christians dream of?
Ladies and gentlemen, living in this foreign land, we have a clear goal in life. That is to live with the lifesaver who saved me. And it is the joy of living by the will of the benefactor of life.
And it is our eternal dream to live together with Jesus, the Savior of our lives, for eternity. And until that dream is realized, we work hard every day for the benefactor of life.
