Title: With Jesus
Contents
Ex) ‘With God’ on Christmas Eve
body description
The disciples were in the most difficult situation (verse 24 - harsh winds, verse 23 - the evening sun, verse 25 - the fourth view of the night, verse 24 - the middle of the sea).
In this difficult and stormy situation, the Lord walks on the water and says, "Take it easy, it's me, don't be afraid."
The word not to be afraid appears 365 times in the Bible.
When we are always with Jesus, fear turns into peace.

Peter in the text walks brightly through the rough waves.
How can we, like Peter, tread on the waves and walk on the water?
1. We must hear the Word and confirm it (verses 28-29).
Verse 28: “Peter answered and said, Lord, if it is given to you, command me to come to you on the water.”
Peter is confirming two things here.
First, I confirmed that it was the Lord.
'If it is the Lord'
That's right.
This is important.
The fact that if it is the Lord, I can walk, and furthermore, I am confirming whether the Lord commands or speaks.
Why do problems arise in our religious life?
Because I can't verify this.

2, You must jump out of the boat (verse 29).
Ex) bungee jumping / guerrilla training in the military
If you really believe, you act.
Why can't I move and not practice?
Because there is no solid belief.
People who enjoy bungee jumping by throwing themselves in the air from 100 meters high are jumping because they trust the safety device and rope to protect themselves.
We, too, should have the same behavior.
3. We must look only to the Lord (verses 29-30).
The moment he looked at the face of the Lord, Peter was able to step on the waves.
But he began to see the wind and at that moment found himself falling in love.
When our eyes were on the Lord, we were on the water.
However, it is a fact that when the waves and gaze are aligned, they are reduced to being under the water.
How difficult is it to look to the Lord and live?
When we look at Peter, we have sympathy in our hearts because we are like him.
Here we see that in spite of Peter's weakness, Peter said, "Lord! Save me!” It should be noted that he exclaimed.
Even when his faith was weak and he fell into the water, Peter did not forget the Lord.
No matter how difficult it is and I feel like I am alone in this world, I must call on the Lord.
Even when we are walking well, we should call on the Lord.
But even when you fall, calling on the Lord at that moment and on the spot is faith.
Even when we succeed, we must call on the Lord.

Jesus almost forced his disciples to go to the Sea of Galilee (verse 22).
Why did the Lord make the disciples go to the Sea of Galilee and fight against a violent storm before the warm miracle of the five fish was even before the bread was even cold?
He used the Sea of Galilee as a spiritual training ground.
If you have received the grace of miracles and the Word, you should use it in your life.
Now I lift up my eyes to look at the Lord, or remember the fact that it is the faith that pleases the Lord that I can call on the Lord, saying “Lord,” even at the moment when I experience failure, and that there is Jesus who reaches out and rescues me. I pray in the name of the Lord that you will have a graceful 2011 moving forward with Jesus.
