Bible: Luke 1:36-38 Title: Women in Childbirth
The Bible is full of stories of women giving birth to children and the blessings of fertility and prosperity. In Genesis, God blessed us to be fruitful, fruitful, and full, and Matthew 1 records the bearing of God's children with interest. God's mission is to beget God's children.
It is recorded that Adam gave birth to a child at the age of 130, had children for 800 years, and died at the age of 930. The Bible is not about childbirth at the level of obstetrics and gynecology, but the story of spiritual children being born again.
In Malachi 4, God wants us to marry in the covenant in order to have godly children.
God sent his only begotten Son into the world to give birth to many spiritual children of God through the bride called the church, so that the number of God's children could be as numerous as the stars and the sand.
The devil intervenes to sever the spiritual line.
The book of Revelation records an incident where a dragon interferes with a woman giving birth. The fact that Sunday School evangelism is the most difficult is a sign that reflects the stubbornness of that generation. In order to hinder it, Satan works through all kinds of principalities, powers, and spirits of darkness.
The appearance of a king who did not know Joseph systematically hindered the birth of the Hebrews due to the vigilance and jealousy of the Hebrew people. In the global village, evangelism is prohibited for those under the age of 18. Children under the age of three are raised by the state and educated on ideology. Boys take away labor and make money, and sell girls as sex slaves. The children are armed and sent to the battlefield. The devil is plotting all kinds of schemes to prevent people from hearing the gospel in order to make all mankind children of the devil.
Records of women giving birth
God is a spiritual God, and He delights in the increase of His children. He opens the womb of Sarah, a 90-year-old grandmother who seems to have died, and gives birth to a son. Elizabeth was pregnant and gave birth to her son, John the Baptist. The virgin Mary conceived a son by the Holy Spirit and gave birth to Jesus. The kingdom of God is the kingdom of miracles that makes the impossible possible. The single Apostle Paul gave birth to spiritual sons Timothy and Onesimus through the gospel. Despite Pharaoh's persecution and obstruction, the Hebrew midwives feared God and were delighted to help the Hebrew women give birth, and He made the midwife's house flourish. Angels do not marry or marry, and individual reproduction is impossible, so there is no procreation that increases the number of angels (Hebrews 1). God did not call angels sons, and God did not call them fathers. But to Abraham's descendants, God is their father, and they become God's children. Therefore, being a child of God is a wonderful blessing.
A pregnant woman is blessed through the pain of childbirth and the labor of nurture.
God wants His immortal children to be produced. He was pleased with Enoch, the man who did not die. A family that does not die, the family of Noah, who does not die, Abraham and his descendants, and Sangdo, who believe in Jesus and are saved, do not die and have eternal life.
Evangelism is about giving birth and giving birth for God.
(Mark 1:36) Jesus came to evangelize. He sowns the seed of the word of life into a person's soul and makes them conceive. (Matthew 20:28) Jesus came to serve. He nurtures the children born through relationship and service.
(1 John 3:8) Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. He destroys the work of the devil who takes over the spiritual heights and prevents the birth of God's children.
What Enoch did was to have children while walking with God, and God was pleased. There are no stories of success in business, of social status and fame, only of having children. God's concern is for God's children to be born.
Giving birth to spiritual children through the gospel can be done by anyone, old or young, virgin or single. How many children did you have when you stood before God in the future? You will not be ashamed to have something to say when you ask.
