Title: Word of God/Acts 13:42-52
Content Sermon Title The Word of God
Preacher Kim Jo
Bible verse Acts 13:42-52
God created the heavens and the earth with a single word. He also rules, guides, and provides providence to the world with the Word. That is why “the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12). All things will appear naked before the word of God (13). God's Word is not a dead Word, not just past history or lessons, but because God's Word is alive, He solves not only physical problems but also spiritual problems. Those who receive the living Word of God by faith rely on the power and grace of God and believe that the dead will come back to life, the sick will be healed, the poor will become rich, the incompetent will become strong, and the losers will become successful. Today's text is today's message, the response and results that Apostle Paul heard when he preached in the synagogue at Antioch in Pisidia. 42,44,46,48,49 He spoke the word of God five times, so we titled “The Word of God” and want to receive some grace by looking at those who have received the word of God and those who have not.
1. You will always be in the grace of God. (verses 42-43)
2. There is a history of great revival. (Verses 44-49)
3. It becomes a life filled with joy and the Holy Spirit. (Verses 50-52)
I will finish speaking.
The members of Antioch Church, who received the word of God, came to be in the grace of God. They were clothed with the power and love of God, and with the grace of redemption, they became a life overflowing with thanks and praise every day. Let the season of Christ come to this earth by receiving the word of God so that the work of revival can occur and preaching it even when it is difficult. Just as the saints who received the word of God were filled with joy and the Holy Spirit, we must be filled with this joy. God's Word is being given the same way, so why are there those who receive and those who do not? Now, the saints who find themselves and receive the Word of God based on their own judgment, experience, and knowledge, do not judge them according to their own circumstances or circumstances, but hear and receive the words of God’s ordained servant and receive and enjoy all the blessings God has prepared. I bless you in the name of the Lord.
