Title: Words that make miracles
Contents
Word: Mark 11:23
Truly I say to you
Whoever says to this mountain, be lifted up and thrown into the sea,
If you believe that what you say will come true and do not doubt in your heart, it will be done for you.
Human words have the power to kill or make alive. We talk a lot, but few words change our lives. Most of them are negative and hopeless sighs. So, how should we use words? What is the power and power of words? How should we use the words that make miracles?
I. Declare confidently.
Miracles happen to those who challenge themselves. What we can do is not called a miracle. God never told us to ask for anything we could do. What God has told us to ask is something we cannot do. But when we try to do things that we can't do, we can't believe it or have the courage to do it. But God says that if you say to the mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will be thrown away. God is not telling me to lift and move mountains. It is to believe in the power of words and believe that God will fulfill my words and proclaim them. The born-again Christians thus had the authority to boldly command the mountains. That is, when we received Jesus, we were given the authority to be children of God. Soon, we have been given the authority to obey even the living.
A dump truck driver can drive a dump truck that is more than 100 times its own body and run it at 100 km/h. But the traffic cop can stop the dump truck with one finger. Because they have the authority given by the state. God did not tell us to beg and beg. He told us to proclaim it proudly as one with authority. Jesus expects us to believe and boldly proclaim God's miracles. The words of Jesus are telling us that we have such power. Rice rots at the words of people. How much less have we, as children of God, have authority in our words. That is why we are told to declare boldly for miracles that only God can do. You promised it would be the same.
Ⅱ. Speak the word of faith.
When we proclaim God's miracles, we must do it by faith. “If you do not doubt in your heart, believing that what you say will come true, it will be done for you.” Doubt is like a ship with a hole in it. Faith is not just a thought. Faith comes from the heart. It is not enough just to think “I believe”. How, then, can we fill our hearts with faith? When blocking the sea and turning it into land, first make a seawall. And the dump trucks keep coming and pouring the soil. The sea water dries up and trucks keep pouring soil, turning the sea into land. Likewise, you just have to keep pouring the words of faith into your heart. If you continue to pour out the words of faith into your heart, eventually your heart will have faith according to the words, and God's miracles will come true as you said at that moment. Just as one or two trucks can't make land, miracles don't happen with one or two words. I must constantly pour the words of faith into my heart until the fog of doubt and anxiety is lifted and my faith is solid.
