Title: Workers in the Vineyard

“As the latter

be first, and the first shall be last.”

What kind of life do people live rather than live a long life...

I don't think this issue is more important.

The life of faith, too, rather than boasting about our years

We need to see if there are any fruits that can be recognized by those around us.

Today the Lord tells a parable to the workers in the vineyard.

In the vineyard field.. All the workers who were called in the early morning were 'the chosen people of Israel'

In other words, it refers to the Jews who were first chosen by God.

But they did not give thanks in the blessings given

They did not serve God well, and even rejected Jesus, who had come as the Messiah.

Because of God's wrathful discipline, the Israelites traveled around the world for a long, long time.

While living a wandering life, 'in 1948,' became independent as a rain.

Even in the wretched state of Israel now that the 'glory of God has gone...'

Because the Lord has left a very few set apart.

Even faintly, it is a situation that maintains the lifeline of Christianity that 'believes in Jesus as the Messiah'.

In this circumstance, the Jews lost all the branches and fruits of grace.

The 'stump in the wisdom of God' roots remain,

It shows outstanding talents and abilities in the fields of 'politics, finance, art, and literature' all over the world.

But on the other hand, though more in the vineyard than they

The Gentiles who were called 'three o'clock ... six o'clock, nine o'clock,' worked diligently and were loyal.

They are humble.. They are earnestly preaching the gospel in gratitude for 'the grace of the Lord' who called them.

He lived a life for the glory of God.

Blessed is Korea, a small country on the edge of the earth, one of those foreign countries.

Now, after the United States, it is the country that sends the most missionaries to the world.

It goes without saying that Korean missionaries are also in Israel.

Now, the people who claimed to be God's 'candlestick of blessing'

It was moved from Israel to Korea.

In just a century, Korea was used as a tool for the gospel as a 'spiritual Israel' people.

In view of the teachings of the people of Israel, faith must always be humble.

How early did you enter the vineyard,

This is not the most important thing, but more importantly, 'Did I do what the Lord wanted me to do?'

In the text, the workers who worked hard and sweat from early in the morning,

I protested against the Lord, who gave me the same wages as those who came later.

But the reason is that they didn't work 'according to God's will'

It is important for us to set a clear purpose for each individual's life toward the Lord.

"God... writes down a person's thoughts..."

“Those who follow the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who follow the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.” {Romans 8:5}

Decided to live for the kingdom of God

From that point on, a person who is devoted to himself becomes God's work in everything he does.

On the other hand, those who live for themselves say that they are doing the work of God,

It is not acceptable to God at all.

All of our members are workers in the vineyard of the Lord.

God is looking for those who obey the Word even if they work for a short time.

“Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven.

Only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven will enter.” {Matthew 7:21}
