Title: Workers of God Youngjin Church Dawn
Main text: Num 1:20-9 01.hwp
The number of Israel was counted, and the number was 603,50.
This is the total number of the twelve tribes. When they went down to Egypt, there were only about 70 people (Ex 1:5), but God gave them the blessing of prosperity even in the midst of abuse and suffering.
1. God's Worker
Only the tribe of Levi was not included in this number.
Levi means 'friendship' or 'union' and is the third son of Jacob and offspring of Leah. A unique position was entrusted to him, which is the role of the clergyman.
It symbolizes being called to the priesthood today.
2,. The Levites are not counted as combatants, but are consecrated and left as those who handle holy things.

Christians should not be counted by worldly numbers, but should be distinguished as people of the kingdom of God. Its purpose is to worship only God.
3. Holy Office
The position of the Levites was very spiritual. When the people moved and stayed, they were responsible for setting up the sacred objects and their utensils in designated places. If an outsider comes close, they will be killed. (51)
They were the ones who had already distinguished themselves from the case of the Golden Calf in the wilderness. (Ex 32-26-29)
The ministers of the modern church must recognize that they are of the tribe of Levi and work with pride.
Moses did not muster or number the tribe of Levi with the other tribes, but set aside the tribe for the work of the tabernacle, that is, the tabernacle of the testimony (Ex 38:21).
This was so that the Levites would camp around the tent of meeting, and when they went to the whole congregation, they would take the tent of meeting and set it up again when they were encamped, so that no strangers could approach the tabernacle, so that they would not be killed. (53)
They were specially set apart for the office of a holy God, and were not subject to conscription even in war. They could also live on tites from other tribes without having to engage in a livelihood.
Today's servants of God must also be freed from their jobs and be able to work for God's work.
