Title: Worry to Win

Worry to win

Romans 7:22-25'22. In my inner man I delight in the law of God, 23. I see another law in my members wrestling with the law of my heart, and taking me captive by the law of sin that is within me.

24. O wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? 25. I will give thanks to God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore I myself serve the law of God with the heart, but the law of sin with the flesh.” - Amen.

After the Apostle Paul met Jesus, he continued to live a life of anxiety that he did not have before believing in Jesus. In several places in the Bible, Paul expresses his suffering over his own weakness.

And he is also talking about the secret to victory. Today, we are going to listen to a message on the topic of <Be grieved if you want to win> in order to learn how to win through faith from Paul, the greatest apostle.

1. Acknowledge your imperfect self

People usually make a mistake or fail to achieve their purpose, which results in frustration or wasting long hours of wandering. However, if the saints properly grasped the existence of human beings, they would not be so discouraged and wandering, and if they had properly grasped the existence of the self, even Judas would not have committed suicide.

A saint is a lucky person who has acquired the status of a child of God rather than immediately becoming a perfect child after believing in Jesus, the covenant of God, and is in the process of living according to God's will.

Everyone should understand the same situation and live knowing that there is no reason to be relatively frustrated. Text, Romans 7:22-23'22. In my inner man, I delight in the law of God, 23. I see another law in my members wrestling with the law of my heart, and taking me captive by the law of sin that is in my members.” Naturally, we have to admit that the sinful nature of our nature appears in us in contrast to our renewed spiritual selves. That way, there is a hope of true victory rather than a positive tone that proudly speaks in the so-called self-hypnosis method.

Hymn (21c), in the chorus of chapter 214, accept me as I am, Lord, who died for me, accept me,

2. Be a grieving one

I like to compare the spirit of living in the world to glasses. If you wear red glasses, the world looks red, if you wear black glasses, the world looks black. They say that if you see the world in a positive way, the world looks good. do.

The Bible rather criticizes the world and tells us that the world is a mission field that needs to be renewed until the end.

Text, Romans 7:24 'O wretched man I am, who will rescue me from this body of death' The word wretched here, talaivpwro, means perpetual trials and anguish. I am troubled because I believe in Jesus. It's not that I don't believe in what I shout and walk around, but it means that I must continue to struggle with my nature and sins that interfere with the true nature of the saints.

Positive mindsets don't blame the world very much. Sometimes they praise or applaud the work of the world and become a person who has nothing to do with getting along. This is not normal.

Isaiah 5:20 “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who turn darkness for light, and light for darkness, and bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter”

Our intercessor, the Lord, is not mentioned in the Bible once to laugh while on earth, but only three times to weep. I mean, the world isn't a place to laugh and laugh like that.

James 4:9-10 “9 Mourn and mourn and weep; turn your laughter into mourning, and your joy into sorrow; 10 humble yourself before the Lord, and the Lord will exalt you.”

3. The symbol of victory is Jesus

These days, more and more people are listening to the words of success in the world during sermons. It is said that the power to overcome the world is faith, but if you listen quietly, a lot of the wisdom of the world is being stolen and propagated in the sermon. What believers must remember and live is that the secret of victory is Jesus.

It is Jesus who first gave us the grace of redemption, and there is no other way to win our lives. If we look to Jesus and resemble Him, we will be victorious. Paul was a much more knowledgeable teacher than we are, and he was a scholar who had learned enough philosophy, so it was not because he did not know the tone of positivism. Because the right way to victory is Jesus,

Text, Romans 7:25 “I will give thanks to God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, with my mind I myself serve the law of God, and with the flesh the law of sin.”

We must remember that Jesus not only atoned for us who were sinners in the past with His blood, but also redeemed us with His blood for our weak mistakes and sins that will occur today and tomorrow, and we must repent and come to the Lord with thanksgiving.

Hebrews 12:2 ‘Let’s look to Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith…’ The name of the saint is truly a blessed and honorable name, which is a Chinese character for the child of God.

Because they are called with tremendous grace, they must live victoriously on earth. It is not something we do well as a Christian to be behind every day, failing to accomplish anything properly, and barely receive salvation and die.

The victorious life is not in the minds of the world. It is only in Jesus Christ and the truth of the Word. First of all, you need to be able to look at the candid image of human beings' fragile ego.

And, as a true believer, when you must have the holy frustration of suffering, when you are in conflict, surrender yourself to the Lord, pray, and hope to be changed, 2 Corinthians 7:10 'God's willful sorrow leads to repentance that leads to salvation without any regrets. and the sorrows of the world work out death.”

I believe that there will be the grace of victory leading to salvation. By all means, I pray that you and I will live your life believing that the saints who continue to suffer from normal worries will gain victory and who are struggling according to the Lord's will.
