Title: Worship God on New Moons

Isaiah 66: 22-24 Worship God on the new moon
This morning, I would like to talk about New Moon worship. God was very interested in the first. So I gave the first hour to God. At the beginning of the new year, we hold a spiritual service, the first morning prayer every day, and a Sunday service on the first day of every week. However, it is unfortunate that there are many churches that do not offer New Moon worship. New Moon worship refers to worship offered to God on the first day of every month. The saints of the Old Testament offered sacrifices on the first day of every month. There are three meanings that they offer sacrifices on the first day of every month.
① We thank God for protecting us over the past month.
② Confess your sins and be forgiven
③It contains the meaning of starting a new moon with the Lord.
The commentator interpreted that the new moon was a sanctified day established to remember God, who rules all things through the providence of setting the moon according to the seasons and telling the time according to the change of the moon. Verse 23 says, “On every new moon and every sabbath, saith the Lord, come all flesh and blood, and worship before me.”
In the days of the prophet Amos, he did not work on the new moon (Amos 8:5) and went to the prophet to hear the word (2 Kings 4:23) and offered gifts of thanks to God as a family unit (1 Samuel 20:5,29).
Hebrews 9:22 says, “According to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission. However, sacrificing an animal and sprinkling blood does not remove sin. Hebrews 10:4 says, “For the blood of bulls and goats cannot take away sins.” In other words, all the sacrifices in the Old Testament were, after all, a perfect model of the sacrifice offered by the body of Christ. Therefore, worship in the New Testament is different now. In Hebrews 10:12, “Christ offered one eternal sacrifice for sins and was seated at the right hand of God.” That is, there is no more sacrifice for sin.” Yes. The sacrifice offered in the body of Christ was sufficient to forgive all sins. Therefore, worship in the New Testament does not focus on the atonement, but on giving thanks for the atoning grace. That is, all worship in the New Testament is offered with thanksgiving.
I pray in the name of the Lord that you will receive grace and blessings by praising and worshiping Jehovah God by participating in the remaining four New Moon services in 2009.
I will conclude From now on, we are going to prepare well for the New Moon service in September 2009. We want to forgive our past sins and receive new grace in the new month of September by blessing Jehovah God by offering the New Moon service that is pleasing to us. So, I wish you a strong start to the new month of September and end the year 2009 well with only faith. I bless you in the name of the Lord once again.
