Title: Ye Have (John 15:1-8)
Contents
The text is completed by God the Father working cooperatively as a farmer who grows vines, Jesus the Son himself becoming a vine, doing the independent work of vine farming, and God the Holy Spirit applying the redemptive grace that He completed as the Father and the Son to those who choose. You are talking about what you are doing.
“I am the true vine, and my father is the farmer”
① Jesus, who took on human nature and became a man. When he calls himself the true vine, he means “a true man.” ② A true man is a person who has fully accomplished God's purpose of creation. He is a true man who is filled with God who is the true truth and true life in humanity. ③ “My father is the farmer” means that God the Father’s main job is to be the president of the business, a person who gives birth to true people, reproduces them, and nurtures them to be like Christ. ④ God the Father, who became a farmer, sacrificed his only begotten Son in his bosom in order to grow grapes well, so you can see how much he loves the church on earth that has become a vine. ⑤ Therefore, in order for a branched person to receive God's love, protection, and nourishment, it is necessary to bear fruit well.
“You have”
① “You” are new people and spiritual people who have received the grace of the Lord’s redemption and have been reborn with the truth and the Holy Spirit. ② He said to go because you are people who came from Jesus through the work of God’s sole work, the work of absolute sovereignty, and unconditional grace. ③ When a branch bears grapes, it means that a new person who has been regenerated grows to the full extent of the fullness of Christ, that is, the sanctification of the body and the building of the temple of the body. ④ The sanctification of the body is the eternal ability of a new person who has been regenerated and is a tool for demonstrating his abilities. ⑤ If the pilot uses an airplane, which is a tool, he can carry hundreds of people to his destination in a short time, and when a person of the flesh wears power, academic background, wealth, physical strength... If you wear a lot of this spiritual torch, you will become a powerful person, and the stage of your activities will expand both physically and mentally.
“What to do between the vine and the branches and the branches”
① The vine and the branches are organic communities, and the branches attach to the vine and receive the sap, and through organic communion between the branches, the body is sanctified. ② Therefore, “in him, every building is joined together to become a temple in the Lord, and you also are being built together in Jesus to become a dwelling place of God in the Holy Spirit” (Ephesians 2:19-22) ③ The branch of the saints What to do ● Do not do anything that harms other branches to bear grapes ● Do work that bears the fruit of self-sanctification ● Do work that makes other branches related with self-sanctification skills bear fruit well do.
“If the branch bears fruit well,”
① As it is said that every branch that bears fruit, he cleanses it in order to produce more fruit, He takes care of it so that both itself and its work become better, both physically and spiritually. ②“...I have chosen you and appointed you so that you may bear fruit, and that your fruit may abid, that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he will receive it” (John 15:16, 7) Answers to prayers according to the word ③ My Father will be glorified if you bear much fruit (verse 8). As the saying goes, I am honored to the Father because I have accomplished salvation and become a mighty and glorious person. But if you become incompetent because you cannot achieve salvation, it is a disgrace to the Father.
