Title: You are a VIP
One of the most respected people in American history is Martin Luther King, Reverend. Pastor King fought for the human rights of black people as a thoroughly non-resistance and non-violent movement. It was recognized, and at the age of 35, he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. And while he continued his campaign, he was killed by an enemy at the young age of 39, but in order to raise his spirit, the United States celebrates King's birthday, January 15, as a national holiday every year. He is a VIP in human history. You, who attended today's worship service, are also VIPs. Why?
First, because you were invited by a very special person.
“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you.” (John 15:16) “God loved us and chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless before God. .” (Ephesians 1:4) It means that God had already chosen me in Christ Jesus before the creation of this world. God planned and designed in advance to save the world. I was already in that great plan. If all the schedules in my life are being fulfilled in the plan of Almighty God, I can't really be a VIP among VIPs. You have entered into God's holy blessing.
Second, because he was recognized as a very special status.
① He is recognized as a child of God (John 1:12).
② He acknowledges that you are righteous. “Jesus was put to death for our transgressions, and was raised to life for our justification (Romans 4:25).” Therefore, whoever believes in the cross will be justified before God and accepted.
③ They call you friends. “From now on, I will no longer call you servants. A servant does not know what his master wants. I called you friends. Because I will tell you what I have heard from the Father (John 15:15).
Third, it has very special benefits.
① He makes it always bear fruit. “Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain, unless the LORD guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain” (Psalm 127:1). When God, who helps you in your life, is with you, you will bear the beautiful fruits of your hard work. A VIP in life produces results that everyone will admire (John 15:16).
② It is an answer to prayer. “So that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.” With God's help, anything is possible. Prayer is the key that unlocks the closed doors of heaven.
③ Become a person of love. What makes people special is that they are noble beings created in the image of God. If we summarize all the words God gave to man, it can be summed up in the words to love God and to love people.
