Title: You Are Special
The Samaritan woman said to Jesus,
“You are a Jew, how do you ask me, a Samaritan woman, for a drink?” Jesus answered the woman.
“If you had known the gift of God and who asked you for a drink, you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.”
In a village, there lived 'little tree people' called 'Wemmick'. They spent the day completely forgetting the existence of the carpenter who made them, holding a large box and attaching gold stars or gray dots to each other. I gave a shiny, golden star to a talented and handsome man, a handsome Wemmick, and a shabby gray star to a Wermick who made a lot of mistakes and looked ugly. The protagonist, Punchnello, who does nothing well, has never received a golden star in his life. There were only gray dots all over my body. Punchnello didn't have a particularly good appearance compared to other Wemmicks, and he didn't have any special talents.
Received a sparkling golden star, the Wermicks flaunted their punches and roamed around. Punchnello tried to jump high like everyone else to get a golden star, but come on, jump high. In the end, I got a wound on my body, and as a result, I got a lot of gray dots from other Wemmicks. Out of shame and fear, Punchnello no longer went out and only hung out with the gray-dotted wemmicks like himself.
Then one day, through a friend named Lucia, Punchnello meets the carpenter Ellie, who made him.
And I heard some very surprising things.
“It’s Punchnello! i made you It was a little difficult when I made you, but I made it very carefully. I love you very much. I made you and I just wanted to brag. That is why you are so special.” Hearing this, Punchnello thought.
“The carpenter who made me said he was proud of me and said he loved me. okay! I might be really special. That might be right.”
As soon as I thought of that, strangely enough, the dots that were clinging to Punchnello's body fell to the floor. The woman who lived in a place called Suga in the time of Jesus was not a very special person. Rather, he was a Samaritan who got married five times and was pointed at and ignored by people. As a result, the Suga-seong woman lived avoiding people.
But with Jesus, none of those things mattered. No, the Suga-seong woman seemed special to Jesus. ‘Poor woman, if I knew that you were God’s work, I wish I would have known that God really created you precious… ." Jesus lamented. God made it precious with all his heart, but we are all precious beings created by God's love.
“It doesn’t matter what anyone says or if someone points a finger at it.
You are the most precious and precious being to God just like me.”
Like the story of Punchnello and the story of the Sugaseong woman, you are all precious beings created by God. But sometimes when I look at it, my friends don't look happy.
‘I’m embarrassed because I have an ugly face.’ ‘I must be really stupid. If you can't study... .'
“Why can’t I sing what everyone else is good at?” Thinking like this, I am filled with complaints and complaints.
But, folks, don't dwell on the gray scorecards and golden scorecards that people have made up.
Each of us is a special being that cannot be compared with anyone else.
Not only that, they are so precious that Jesus willingly exchanged his life for them.
Sometimes adults we don't know well tell us this.
“You are special. Because he's smart, handsome, and smart."
But God is speaking to us today.
“You are special. I just wanted to brag after making you. You don't know how happy I was to make you. Even if you don't look good or you don't study well, you are a very precious gift to me. Be sure to remember.”
Now, let's look at each other and follow along, shall we?
“My friend, you are so special!”
