Bible/Matthew 28:16-20 Title/You Go
The resurrected Jesus entered the temple in Jerusalem or appeared to the religious believers in Jerusalem who had crucified Him. Instead of paying for their sins, He went to Galilee and went first to the promised place that He had instructed His disciples, and then commissioned the disciples from there. He was entrusted with the name of the missionary. In the present age, there is no leader to follow, no flag to wave, no song to sing. But we are the Kings who will follow Jesus Christ forever, the waving flag of the cross is the cross, and the song we can sing is the praise of redemption.
1. All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
In obedience to the Father's command, Jesus Christ, who became incarnated and came down to the cross to save the world, laid down all authority of honor and glory. He refused even the flashy offer that Satan offered to provide, rejected the crowd's move to be crowned king, and when many people gathered to pray while chasing demons, healing diseases, and strengthening the weak, he went up to the mountain alone to pray. When Jesus was arrested, if he asked the Father, he could mobilize twelve or more angels, but he was just caught in order to fulfill the Father's word.
The power of Jesus is the power to teach. It is the power to forgive sins. He has the power to curse the fig tree and make it wither, to kill and to make alive. Satan is trying to control people with bread. Satan tempts people miraculously. Satan misleads people into giving them the power they want. However, the resurrected Jesus is a declaration that Jesus has taken away the power of false Satan and suspended his duties, and that all authority now rests in the hands of Jesus Christ.
The resurrected Jesus destroyed the works of the devil, trampled the serpent's head with his feet, and restored the lost sovereignty of God and the authority to restore the kingdom and people.
2. Therefore you go
Conclusion/When we all carry out the Lord's great command to make disciples of Jesus, the Lord Immanuel is with us and when we stand before the Lord, we will be praised as good and faithful servants.
